Chapter XXXIII: Back in the Cave ~Bluebird

Some time later (not sure how long), the Professor awoke from one of his many naps down in the cave. Now, he returned to the immense task of finding a way to get himself, and a small group of others off the planet and back to their homes. The most obvious solution to this would be the construction of a spaceship. However, this would certainly be more difficult than it seemed, since none of the usual materials were readily available. Any structural components, engines, and electronics would have to be built from scratch.

Looking around the cave, the feathered one wondered what of the seemingly junk that came to Zolott with him could be useful. Most of it consisted of generic office furniture and supplies, such as desks, filing cabinets, and lots of paper. Also, much of the larger furniture was bent or broken when it reappeared in this cave far from the Professor's office. Upon closer inspection, he did manage to find a few electronic devices that were used around the office: a few adding machines, a word processor, and a tape recorder.

After completing his inventory, the Professor went to work trying to figure out how he could use what was available to his, and others' benefit. A few obvious ideas came to mind, but he was still unsure of his judgement. He decided to ask the others for ideas when (and if) they decided to come to the cave. Meanwhile, The Professor began work on some potential spaceship components, such as the electronics, while waiting for the others.
