Chapter X - Stowaway on Board ~Jade

She had watched the whole thing... that Shin guy... he made a huge explosion. The energy was quite strong and it attracted Jade, whom was training alone not far away. She heard the sound and felt the energy wave rush through her scaly body.

Jade opened one blue reptilian eye, and narrowed her eyes towards the distant noises of a loud... what was that loud thing?

Her tail twitched back and forth as she curiously floated to the area in time to see an armored man. He was talking to a guy who radiated with energy. It had to be him whom caused that wave. A train of some sort hovered in midair as the two spoke.

"Mmm...This could be interesting…" she said, ducking down and leaning forward she used her special "skill" (or at least she called it a skill) of eavesdropping....

"Shinsei Aku, I presume?"

"Who wants to know?"

Jade leaned a little closer. She hovered a little with her toes barely touching the ground... she was unseen, hidden on the other side of the weird train. She went back to listening...

"They are, trust me. On to the matter at hand... they are currently in a bit of trouble and I am here to round up some of the most powerful fighters in the known dimensions to help them...."

They? Who were they? She cussed to herself missing out on that part. Hmm…they needed the most powerful fighters in the known dimensions.

"They can't leave me out!" she hissed once again to herself. "Maybe I'll just...follow them for a bit and find out what trouble there is...and if there's some sorta reward…heh."

The two men continued talking as she slunk skillfully towards the backside of the train. There had to be some sort of storage space in the back...

"C'mon..." she mumbled…"Oh yeah! I rule!" she cheered to herself finding a small door near the backside as she had predicted. Now to open it...

The train seemed to light up as it was starting up for them to continue on their journey. While being too busy with finding a door she didn't notice the two figures had stopped their talking. Jade swiftly slammed opened the door. It was small and unnoticed near the bottom. Only big enough to crawl in, which is precisely what she did.

She slammed it shut (so much for being quiet) just in time as the train took off. Jade sighed with relief and sat in the still-darkness. It was pitch black and musty wherever she was. She heard the murmur of voices... they were far away. Probably at the front of the train.

"I might be here for days..." she rolled her eyes. She was trained to stay in hiding for up to a week or more without suffering.

Keyword: WAS.

"This better be worth it," she growled and lay back in a resting position, just in time to take a small nap...
