Chapter XXI - Then He Stops, Right On His Nose ~Vector

Vector ran down a path carved into the forest, moving at a speed considered excessive by anyone’s standards, except maybe his. The planet he had decided to take a vacation on was home to many types of plants, and more than a few large bugs. At present, Vector’s blue skin was spotted green, the result of running through one of the large bugs. He sailed out of the forest, and across a large plain, the world silent to his ears. Several meters behind him, however, the world was anything but silent. The grass on the plain was ripped up by its roots, and the fresh soil was flung to both sides as the shockwave of Vector’s thunderous sonic boom trailed behind him. You see, Vector was the fastest known Yoshi, and he gloated heavily in that title. He saw something on the horizon, and he charged forward, each footfall leaving a heavy footprint, that was promptly erased by the redecoration of the landscape his sonic boom was achieving. Almost too late, he saw Jade getting up, and in his rush to stop, he tripped, and fell into a rapid succession of somersaults, ending when he hit the side of the Spectrum rather hard.
