Chapter XXXVIII - Reliving
the Past ~Yoshi6400
Yoshi6400 was deep in thought, sitting off to the side of the group, thinking of something.
Past memories... he thought, that planet that Kurayami
warped to...why can't I remember anything about it? I remember people I saw: Multex, Markior, Kyanosa,
Sapphire then called to him from the group, "Brian, you see where she went?"
"Nope, I was thinking." he replied, standing and jumping up, appearing above the treetops.
He then floated there, looking up at the night sky.
"Something troubling you Brian?"
6400 turned, seeing Sapphire floating behind him.
"Remember when I left chasing after Kurayami? Well, I don't remember much after that point. I don't even remember how I got back. When I try, I can get bits of memories, but not the whole thing."
Sapphire floated closer and hugged him. "Don't worry yourself so much. You'll find the answers. I know you will."
The Yoshi God looked at his love, kissed her on the cheek and spoke, "This memory thing has been troubling me for a while now. I couldn't even concentrate my energies enough to break out of a Protoss Stasis Cell, something that shouldn't be able to hold me without a power supplement or aid. I'll remember...I just need more time to think."
"If you need me love, just call."
Sapphire then dropped back down through the trees and re-joined the group. Yoshi6400 still floated, looking around and thinking about that time he forgot. He appeared standing on the edge of a massive crater; around him were formations of Shadow Crystals, glowing with their peculiar purple auras...the planet was devastated by massive forces one of which, he knew was the Shadow Dimension. Yoshi6400 looked and saw a Protoss Carrier on a collision course for the black fortress he saw before...before the Carrier exploded, he heard a voice in his mind: When we meet again.
The Yoshi opened his eyes.
Was that a dream? Or a memory... he thought to himself, still floating in the air. Another piece to the puzzle I guess.
Just then he looked up to the sky and he saw something he didn't want to see: a group of Zerg units flying in the distance...but not just any units, a new strain. Yoshi6400 dropped down swiftly, and went to warn the others.
