Chapter LVI - Wasting Time ~Jade

Once again, Jade found herself on the Spectrum. It was quiet for the most part as she had found a small secluded area nobody had noticed. She was leaning against the metal wall behind her, sitting on the ground. Her arms rested above her head carelessly. Most of the crew had gone about their own matters. Some had gone to sleep. She wasn't even sure what time it was in this place but it didn't matter. She wasn't planning on sleeping for awhile. She still wasn't familiar with some of the current inhabitants of this freak show. For all she knew, one of them would slice her throat in her sleep and – well let's not get into that.

Her stomach growled a deep abnormal growl. She never did find any food and was starving.

"I thought I heard that dog freak say somethin’ about a kitchen...."

She shifted to the side quietly, her light body weight allowing her to get up swiftly and move quickly around the Spectrum. The kitchen was nowhere in sight, which caused her to snarl under her breath. Her tail flicked back and forth angrily like a live snake and smacked someone nearby in the face.

"Oops," she quietly shifted to the side, obviously failing her attempts of quietness.

Finally, reaching the kitchen she gazed around the surroundings. It was pretty nice for a kitchen... looked a little high-tech as well. Maybe a little too High Tech....

"Where the hell is the alcohol in this place?" she demanded to nobody in particular.

As usual there was no answer from any waking members on the train. She noticed a strange metal cooler of some sort hidden back in the corner which stood out from the rest of the stuff in there. From what it appeared to be, it was a cooler that held drinks.

In moments she was next to the cooler. It was a large box, shaped like a fridge which was cold to the touch. Obviously something refreshing would be inside. She pried it open gently with her claws; cold air rushed out like steam. She fanned the air until it cleared away, only to see a stack of wine bottles... or at least they looked like wine. She picked one up and examined it... there was foreign writing written on the bottle - perhaps a drink from off her home planet?

"Ehh..." she shrugged, shutting the lid to the cooler and taking the one bottle with her all the way back to her secluded spot.

Whatever this drink was, it had better taste good.
