Chapter XCVI: Nobody Here but Us "Lizards" ~Jade
The Spectrum had gone quite silent as people filed out to head to their homeworlds. Jade remained ...watching them all leave. As the train seemed silence she floated through the main car of the Spectrum, grinning deviously.
"Whoo! Nobody's left. Time to have some fun!" she smirked a fanged smile.
"And just what is THAT supposed to mean?" a voice rang out from behind her.
A little surprised, she turned to see the rainbow Hoshi Prism, whom was sipping a can of Dr. Pepper quietly. Her free hand, with it's rainbow fingers, tapped impatiently against her seat's armrest as she raised a brow at the Koopa.
Jade's smirk changed from a smile to a grimace. "Of all the people left on this thing YOU had to be the last one left. Just my luck". She was familiar with Prism, whom she had bumped into her a few times back on Yoshi Island.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she demanded. "I'll have you know that we're not the only ones left on this train!".
"Ah, yes. I'm guessing that useless small human is here as well" .She sneered as she said the word of that retched species.
Prism's eyes lowered as she spoke, "He's a lot smarter and nicer than you'll ever be."
"Oh, I'm SO SURE, Princess. Don't make me laugh... and is that Dr. Pepper you're drinking? That crap tastes like dirty dish water!".
Prism sipped a bit more of her drink before setting it down. Her left eye twitching, "I HATE IT when people say that..."
"You should try some better drinks! Like this funny liquid I found in that super advanced fridge in the kitchen" the female lizard turned to her back, her auburn hair trailing down her shoulders and fluffing out wildly, as it had not been brushed for awhile. "I tend to make my mark on this place... and SHOW you all how powerful I am...".
"Do as you please but don't cause any trouble for us. You're considered a friend onboard here, just as much as that Kurayami fellow..."
"Righto." Jade rolled her eyes, muttering a not-so-nice word under her breath about Prism, whom had given one last look at Jade and muttered.
"At least I have some decent friends.. and family.." she rolled her eyes as well, taking another sip of her Dr. Pepper and picking up a magazine.
Ping! Hit right where it hurts! Jade's back straightened for a moment as she seemed shook-up for a few seconds. She said no more, heading towards the front of the Spectrum.
"It's a shame we're stuck with her on this voyage," Prism flipped to the next page of her magazine carelessly, hoping someone pleasant would come by to talk to her instead of that... That.. Lizard...
