Chapter CXV: They Don’t Learn Their Lessons… ~Yoshi6400 (addition by YoshiGeno)

Note: This takes place before the destruction of the Ragnarok

The StarDragon002 continued to fly towards
South Yoshin, blasting through Viper platoons that attempted to get in the way.

"Um... I hate to break it to you 6400, but the Twilighter known as Fahna has arrived in front of the Crystal Fortress." A.L.I.C.E. suddenly announced in mid-battle, "Want me to go over there and deal with her?"

"I thought getting beaten by Geno would have been enough for her... I guess she just won't give up. Go ahead A.L.I.C.E." Yoshi6400 replied. "Make sure to let her in and lock the door behind her. Then display the arsenal." he then said with a smile.

"Gotcha. Switching controls back to manual. Transferring back to the Crystal Fortress computer now." A.L.I.C.E. said.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Essentially present time from now.

Fahna stepped in front of the main gates and wondered if she should blast her way in or knock first. "I guess it's worth a try to knock. No point in wasting energy." she thought as she walked up to the doors and tapped on one of them with her hand. Surprisingly, the doors swung open. "Wow. It actually worked. I guess I should go find that main control center and destroy it now." she thought out loud. She stepped into the empty main hall and looked around. Suddenly, the doors slammed shut behind her and an anti-magick forcefield formed over them and all the walls of the whole fortress.

"Welcome. I'm A.L.I.C.E. and I already know that you're Fahna." a voice said from a hidden speaker in the hall. "As you can see the Crystal Fortress is now sealed with a protective forcefield. Oh and you shouldn't..."

"This pitiful shield won't do much against me!" Before A.L.I.C.E. could continue, Fahna slammed a fist into a wall and the field lining the wall instantly gave off magic energy feedback. The Twilighter recieved the BIGGEST shock she had EVER felt and was thrown into the middle of the hall by the force.

"I was going to warn you about that..." A.L.I.C.E. mumbled as Fahna got to her feet, "As I was saying, you shouldn't touch the forcefield since it can give off magic feedback. Essentially, you'll get blasted by your own magical energy."

"Why don't you show yourself
Alice, and deal with me face to face?" Fahna said, looking around.

"I'm not
Alice, I'm A.L.I.C.E., short for Advanced Logistics and Inconsequence Cognizing Equipment Mark II. I can't show myself to you because I'm the computer. I don't have a physical form..." A.L.I.C.E. replied. "You know that you should turn back, the main control room is highly defended and I'm sure you won't be able to get to it. I can lower the shield around the door and let you out if you wish." she then said in a cocky tone.

"I'm not going to turn back till I destroy that control room in this place and shut this fortress down." Fahna said walking to a door, noticing that it wasn't shielded.

"By the way, most of the doors in the Crystal Fortress aren't shielded. Well, aren't shielded all of the time. You're free to move around the place, if you survive the trap stuff." A.L.I.C.E. started, "I heard you want to go to the control room, and that's in the center of the Fortress. If you want to go there, you have to take the door straight ahead and pass through two rooms plus a hallway. Whenever you enter a room or hallway, the doors will seal and a defense system will start up. If you survive, you move on. Easy, right?"

"
How do I know you're not lying?" Fahna said, wondering if she should follow A.L.I.C.E.'s directions.

"I can't lie. I don't have the algorithms to do it. I can sling insults and withhold information from time to time though..." A.L.I.C.E. replied as she made a door open. "Aren't you going to hurry? I thought you Twilighters had no time to lose."

Fahna didn't reply, she just walked through the door and pulled out her whip, waiting for the defenses of the first room to kick in.

"Activating the first defensive system. Oh, sorry about the lousy decor of the the place... I had to conseal all the stuff so that it doesn't get blasted up." A.L.I.C.E. said before going silent, as panels in the walls and ceiling opened up revealing multiple gun turrets. The guns immediately started firing at the female Twilighter in the middle of the room, filling the air with bullets and energy blasts. Fahna swiftly dodged through the shots and floated up to three turrets, eliminating them all with a single crack of her whip. She didn't notice, however, that A.L.I.C.E. was watching her moves and calculating her movement abilities. As Fahna moved and eliminated a turret, A.L.I.C.E. recorded her movement speeds. This continued until there were only two turrets left... Fahna eyed the guns, one to her left, and one above, waiting for the next shots. The one to the left then fired a large blast, bigger than what she expected.

"Angle Correction = Inverse Tangent of the speed perpendicular to the turret divided by speed of shot... Compensating for room size... FIRE!" A.L.I.C.E. calculated as Fahna dashed towards the gun to her left. She made the aim corrections quickly and fired, the blast flying directly for the Twilighter. The smell of singed hair filled the room as Fahna quickly dodged, the beam from the ceiling gun barely missing and going through some of her pink hair. Fahna dashed around and eliminated the final guns before any more shots could be fired.

"You're fast..." A.L.I.C.E. commented as she opened the doors to the next section.

"Of course." Fahna retorted, levitating and floating to the door.

"But from the looks of that scar on your left arm, I see that you weren't fast enough to match up to someone. Those burn markings around the scar suggest a Starflare technique... Hmmm. Must have been YoshiGeno." A.L.I.C.E. said, making Fahna grumble.

The Twilighter floated into an empty hallway and suddenly felt a strong pull downwards... "Arrrgh, what is this?" she said as she was pulled to the ground.

"You can't stand this? You have to be kidding me." A.L.I.C.E. said "It's just a hundred times the normal gravity of the planet. Oh, and watch your feet. I'm activating the zero friction floor."

The floor suddenly was covered by a thin layer of shimmering fluid and Fahna slipped, falling with a thud. She used her levitating abilities to get back up, but she could only stay a foot or two above the ground. "Is that is or is there supposed to be more?" Fahna said, trying to hide the fact that she felt strain from the added gravity. Right after her remark, translucent plates of energy (most about 1' by 1') appeared in the hallway and began to move around.

"This is your simple obstacle course. I should tell you that the floating walls have a lot of repelling force to them. Unless you want to find out what a pinball feels like, I wouldn't advise to touch them." A.L.I.C.E. said, informing Fahna of the dealings in the hallway.

"Easy enough..." Fahna said with a smirk, coiling her whip and placing it at her side. The Twilighter floated easily through the room, dodging past the repulsion plates as if they weren't there. After a short moment, she stopped in front of the door and reached for the access panel. However, instead of touching it, she hit an invisible repulsion plate and was forced back into the hallway crashing into another repulsion plate. Fahna screamed in frustration as she skittered along the zero-friction floor, being bounced back and forth around the hallway. Eventually, she crashed into a red button in the wall that she failed to notice earlier and the system deactivated.

"Oops... I... um... forgot to mention the button that you had to press to turn off the hallway system." A.L.I.C.E. said with an apologetic tone. "Well, I guess you could go to the next room now." A.L.I.C.E. then opened the door and allowed Fahna into the next room.

After some grumbling, the female twilighter got up and floated to the open door and entered another small room with a table. She stopped in front of the table and eyed a deck of cards floating in an energy field. "So, what do I do here?" Fahna asked impatiently.

"Oh, just a simple game of poker. 3 draws, 2s are wild. Best two out of three wins." A.L.I.C.E. replied as she changed the harmonics of the field making the cards spiral around mixing randomly. Then she changed the field again, making the cards fly around until collecting in a stack again. A.L.I.C.E. then formed two fields on opposite sides of the table, five cards flying from the deck into each field. "Oh, by the way, there's only one camera in the room that lets me see my cards. But there are plenty of sensors that can pick up your location, so no funny business."

"So you're relying on a game of chance? For the last defense?" Fahna said as she looked over the five cards floating in front of her.

"Well.. Not really. There's a second system in this room that will kick in after the game... If you beat me." A.L.I.C.E. replied while she scanned over her cards.

The two played for what seemed like an eternety, taking time to ponder over their hands and what cards to drop for a draw. Tension built in the air as the two matched wits, using all their skill to out will and out play the other. Finally, it came to A.L.I.C.E. and Fahna being tied, one game apiece. The Twilighter and AI continued to play until it came to the final draw and their final decisions...

Fahna stared at the camera hanging from the field generator and watched as it looked to the A.L.I.C.E.'s hand, then to her, then back to the hand. "So, now what? You going to draw yet?" She asked, waiting for the AI to make a move.

A.L.I.C.E. finally dropped a single card and picked up another one. "Your move." she then said, replying in a tone that did not signify if the draw came out all right or not.

Fahna pointed to a single card floating in the field holding her hand of cards. The card flew down and landed in a discard pile. A new card then flew off the top of the pile, taking its place. This switch was followed by total silence... Eventually, A.L.I.C.E. controlled the fields to show both hands.

"I win. Good game. Now where's that last defense system? I want to get this over with." Fahna exclaimed, not noticing the faint blue haze starting to fill the room. Without warning, the Twilighter was forced out and back into the hallway, the room filling with a strong energy field.

"You asked for it, so here you go." A.L.I.C.E. said, "the final barrier."

Fahna cautiosly mumbled a spell under her breath and launched it into the room. Immediately, the energy was absorbed into the field, dissapating on contact. The Twilighter ignored the fact and dashed in, knowing that she had wasted enough time. She moved through the field, dodging multicolored bolts that flew around through the field. Fahna reached the door on the other side easily, but she was unable to move. The Twilighter was then pulled into the middle of the field, her energy beginning to be drained. "WHAT IS THIS!" she managed to yell before pain coursed through her body.

"It's a field that can absorb ANY kind of energy" A.L.I.C.E. replied, "and it can either strengthen itself or fire a feedback with the energy. Good luck at trying to get out."

Fahna attempted to struggle against the invisible force holding her in place, but the field instantly absorbed some kinetic energy from her movements and shocked her with it. She then fired energy bolts into the field, the blasts hitting the edges of the field. In response, the field fired a multicolored beam at her, using the energy collected from the bolts. Out of total frustration, Fahna went into a rage and willed herself forward, moving against her own energy. She took one step after another, an expression of torment plastered on her face...

"Wow." A.L.I.C.E. said as the Twilighter finally reached the control panel by the door and shut down the field.

Fahna commanded the door to open and she smiled as she prepared to desteoy the control room and the Crystal Fortres along with it. The door opened revealing... An empty room.

"Oops... Wrong room. Sorry about that. You won't be able to trash the Crystal Fortress from here. Wanna give up yet? I'll lower a bit of the anti-magick field for you so you can leave. Okay?" A.L.I.C.E. said in a comical tone.

"You... Have got to be kidding! After that... just an EMPTY ROOM!" Fahna exclaimeded with rage, "AAAARRRGH! I've had it!" She then formed a black portal and jumped into it, leaving the Crystal Fortress and Yamauchi.

"I'll take that as a 'Yes, I'll leave now.'" A.L.I.C.E. said just before putting the shield back up. She then made the walls of the empty room open up, revealing consoles screens and platforms. A.L.I.C.E. put them back into place, restorinig the control room before preparing to transfer back to the StarDragon002.

-------------------------------------------------------------

A black figure trashed through the sanctuary on Yoshi's
Island, killing all in his way. Suddenly the figure stopped in front of a Yoshi sage and picked him up.

"Who... who are you?" the Yoshi asked as he was held up against a wall by his robes.

"The name's Rebdok. And it'll be the last name you'll ever hear. I attacked earlier and I'm here to finish the job." the figure in black answered, "Now if you tell me where Yoshi Olympus is and how I get in there, I'll make sure your death won't be as painful as it could be."

Before the Yoshi could reply, Rebdok was tapped on the shoulder from behind. The Twilighter turned to see who would dare interrupt him, just to have a green fist meet with his face. He lost hold of the Yoshi sage and went skittering down the hall from the force of the punch, crashing into a wall on the other side.

"Who dares..." the Rebdok mumbled as he got to his feet, not noticing the burns on his cheek.

On the opposite side of the hallway stood YoshiGeno, his silver robes and swallow glistening in the light from the sanctuary windows. "I dare." he said with a smile, "I've already beaten your partner in your last attempt to infiltrate Yoshi Olympus and Luna's Sanctuary. You're willing to try again?"

"Sure as hell. And I'll succeed." Rebdok said with his red scythe in hand.

The two immediately dashed at each other and the sound of clashing metal filled the Yoshi's Island Sanctuary as Geno's swallow met with Rebdok's scythe. YoshiGeno made the first contacting hit as he sweeped one of Rebdok's legs, knocking him over. Then the Yoshi God grabbed the Twilighter and slammed him through a wall, throwing him outside. Rebdok regained his bearings in mid air and landed on his feet in a grassy field.

"Holy energy..." Rebdok said as he brushed his smoldering robes with his left hand, "I should have known."

YoshiGeno stepped out of the hole in the wall and turned to face the Twilighter in black, "Want to leave peacefully, or do you still want to try your luck?" he said as he walked towards Rebdok.

"I think you know the answer to that, and it is a waste of words for you to ask..." Replied the Twilighter. With the hellish scythe in his hands, he leaped towards YoshiGeno once again.

"Very well..."

YoshiGeno took a defensive position. He grabbed his swallow with both of his hands, as the incoming blade clashed with the center of his weapon. Rebdok leaped back a few instants after the collision. The holy warrior's swallow was marked with blood, which was hastily evaporated by the light energy surrounding it.

"Not bad... at all..." Geno touched the blades of his swallow, as a sparkling flare spiraled around the blades. These lit up, and increased the sharpness of his swallow. Continued act, he charged towards his foe.

Both battled up high in the air. The weapon collisions caused both sparkles of light and shadow to flash all over the island, as the floor was marked with spots of vivid red blood from the scythe.

Both jumped and distanced from each other. Both of their weapon skills were extremley amazing, which meant that this was not going to be an easy battle. Geno lowered his eyes, looking at Rebdok with his long silver eyes. Then, grabbing his swallow with both hands, he charged almost inmediately towards Rebdok. Due to his speed, he looked like a holy bolt charging at full speed. He was going to perform a frontal stabbing attack.

Rebdok, having some trouble to focus on Geno's movement, curved his Scythe as the sharp edge of it faced his front. When Geno tried to stab him, Rebdok moved his blood red weapon to collide with Geno's swallow. The swallow slipped, and still going towards him, Geno cut his arm a bit when it touched the bloody edge. Meanwhile, he lost control of his swallow, which was send down into the ground. Spinning like mad, it clashed with the ground, as one of its edges buried into the ground. Geno, losing his balance, flew towards the ground. When he landed, he places his hand over his arm, to stop the bleeding.

Rebdok just laughed at Geno's misfortune. Taking the battle for granted, he charged to get into the island. However... three spheres of light suddenly began to surround him, as they spinned around him like the electrons of an atom.

Geno did not go back to get his swallow. He placed his other hand on his forehead, focusing... He hoped the pain would not cause his magic attack to fizzle. Suddenly, below Rebdok, strange light runes appeared out of no where, as the lights spinning around him began to get faster and faster...

Little did he know those spheres were actually the targeting for YoshiGeno's incoming attack...

"Divine light from heavens, light to vanquish evil! Obey my command and annihilate all who causes unbalance between good an evil..."

The floor started to shake. The runes suddenly opened a warp gate, and a sudden flash of light showered in Rebdok's eyes. Right afterthat, a comet-like beam of energy was released from the door, and directly into Rebdok. The ray of light, which looked like a shooting star due to its brilliant body, its shiny tail and its tremendous speed, impacted Rebdok's chest. He was still trying to recover from the light that was burning his eyes when it hit and he inmediately dropped into the floor.

"Urgh... How fooling could have I been... To take things for granted..."

"You just broke the very first rule of survival in this world." replied Geno.

Rebdok said nothing. He used the last of his strength to grab his Scythe and escape...

"We learn from mistakes. We shall meet again. Stay strong, light warrior."
And he vanished...

-------------------------------------------------------------

StarDragon002 arrived at
South Yoshin and transformed back to dragon mode. 6400 and Sapphire looked through the viewscreens and saw that the city was a wreck, and occupied by a large number of Viper mobile suits.

"I guess it's time to fight..." 6400 said as he guided StarDragon002 through the streets and stopping in front of a single Viper standing as a sentry.

"Yeah," replied Sapphire as she watched her viewscreens, looking for any surviving Yoshi suits.

"Unidentified suit, state your designation." The pilot ordered over the com system.

"YCF-002DRG StarDragon002, status - enemy. Surrender now and you won't be destroyed." Yoshi6400 said in reply, the blades on StarDragon's forearms beginning to superheat and glow red.

"It is you that will need help in a moment..." The pilot said, locking on with a beam bazooka. Before the pilot could fire, the StarDragon fired its boosters and dashed at the Viper, slicing through it with one of the blades. The Viper collapsed and fell silent.

More Vipers immediately appeared from behind buildings and boosted up to the unidentified mobile armor, firing away with large gatling guns. Yoshi6400 quickly reacted, spinning StarDragon around to dodge the fire and retaliating with shots from the mobile armor's shoulder vulcans. Two Vipers in the front took most of the shots, collapsing soon after. Yoshi6400 guided the StarDragon to dash forward as Sapphire used the Psycommu system to mentally command the fin funnels. The group of Vipers fired again, the shots colliding against the beam barrier formed between three fin funnels. The other three floated forth through the group and began to attack with energy beams. The enemy pilots were too slow to react to the fast moving remote pods and the group quickly fell, three suits at a time.

As Sapphire finished off the group ahead and 6400 made StarDragon spin back around and continue on, a Viper suit suddenly came in from behind and grabbed the Mobile Armor, immobilizing the dragon's arms. Then another came in from the front, dodging around the beam shield and grabbing the dragon's head and powering up a Beam Sabre.

"This dragon isn't going to fall that easily..." Yoshi6400 said as he activated all the rocket boosters, lifting the dragon and the suit on its back off the ground while effectively dodging a swipe from the Beam Sabre. Then he commanded StarDragon to open its mouth and let loose a blue flame composed of superheated plasma and a napalm like substance. As the disabled and partially melted Viper in front fell to the ground, the tail of StarDragon began to glow with heat and it cleanly sliced off the lower half of Viper behind. StarDragon landed on the ground and continued to move through the city, looking for any surviving Yoshi forces.

StarDragon turned a corner and was then greeted by large energy blasts. 6400 quickly pulled back into the street and looked around the corner to see what had fired the shots. At the end of the street were six Vipers, each with a pair of beam bazookas, one slung on each shoulder.

"Sapphire, can you take care of this?" 6400 Asked as he looked towards the fin funnels floating in his viewscreen.

"Yeah Brian, I'll take care of it." She said as she made the fin funnels take off and fly into the street and at the Vipers.

The Vipers saw the fin funnels coming and fired blast after blast at them, but the pods were too fast to be hit. Before the pilots knew it, their suits were disabled as the fin funnels shot up the arms and legs of each suit.

"Haven't killed any of them so far..." Yoshi6400 said with a bit of a smile, "Hopefully the pilots will learn something from that."

"Yeah," Sapphire said "let's see if we can keep this up."

StarDragon worked its way through the city until it reached the heart of the city where a group of Yo'shar suits were surrounded by larger group of Vipers. In the middle of the Yo'shar suits stood a black suit with wings.

6400 recognized it instantly, being a custom design he made five years ago. He backed the StarDragon behind a building and waited.

"Brian, aren't we going to go in and help?" Sapphire asked as she sat in her seat, wondering what was going on.

"They won't need our help just yet, and I don't think we'll be able to disable any more suits without killing the pilots. These ones won't learn their lessons anyways, their call signs signify that they're elites." 6400 replied with a frown, "I'm going to get the StarDragon on the roof of one of these buildings so we can get a better view."

The black suit made the first move, crossing the invisible line drawn between Yo'shars and Vipers. It then brought up the gatling shield mounted on the left arm and tore a clean path through the vipers with fire. The platoon of Vipers paied less attention to the Yo'shars firing upon them and more towards the Shadow Mage suit dashing through the group decimating suit after suit. The black suit then jumped up into the air and pulled out a beam sabre handle from a storage compatrment in the hip. A purple blade soon formed and sliced through a Viper as the suit landed. Then five more exploded as the Shadow Mage spun around and sliced through them. Soon, the Vipers were at an equal number compared to the Yo'shars but the Vipers were unfortunately in much better conditions.

Suddenly, a squadron of
Auroras flew over and fired down on the Yo'shars, destroying a number of suits. The pilot of the Shadow Mage finally turned on a com system and sent a message.

"This is Kuroihoshi, acting commander of the 12th Yo'shar MS Team. We need backup ASAP!" the pilot exclaimed as she blocked shots with the shield and fired back with Shadow Mage's Vulcan guns.

"I believe that's our cue. Shall we go?" Sapphire asked as the call came in on the StarDragon com system.

"Yeah, I think it's time." 6400 answered, commanding StarDragon to move to the edge of the roof.

The Shadow Mage suit was now surrounded by Vipers with nowhere to dodge to. Kuroihoshi aimed the gatling shield at a Viper and pulled a trigger on her left joystick but nothing fired... She was out of ammo. She then pushed a button on the side of her joystick and the gun component dropped off the shield and clattered to the ground. Kuroihoshi then commanded her suit to put the beam sabre in the right hand back into storage. She then made the Shadow Mage bring out a long rifle weapon that was stored on its back and connect a cable to its energy port. The sensor arrays on the gun then flashed to life and flickered as it processed tragetting info.

"What are they waiting for?" Kuroi thought to herself as she looked at her viewscreens and at the Vipers with their guns trained on her mobile suit. "I guess it's time for a surprise."

Kuroihoshi then pulled both triggers of her joysticks at the same time. The front plates of the lower legs opened, revealing something to the dismay of the Vipers. Each leg contained two compartments, housing a compliment of five micromissiles each. The missiles launched, leaving trails of smoke as they flew around. The Vipers spread out and tried to get out of the way but it was too late. The missiles hit their marks, immediately taking out the mobile suits they hit and critically damaging the ones within explosion range. Kuroi then dashed the Shadow Mage towards the group of Yo'shar mobile suits. Before she reached them, however, a blast from a beam bazooka and fire from the
Auroras made direct hits and the Mage careened into a building.

"We were told by the high command to ignore Richter and to bring back any rare suits we found." said the pilot of a Viper as it walked up to the Shadow Mage, beam bazooka in hand, "I don't think they'll mind if the cockpit has been blown out... What the? AAAARRRGH!"

The StarDragon002 jumped off the roof of the building it was standing on and it came down landing right on the Viper. After the crushed Viper exploded, the fifteen remaining Vipers boosted in, leaving the crippled Yo'shar suits behind.

"Need a little help?" 6400 asked from the StarDragon as it stood infront of the Shadow Mage.

"Hey Kuroi!" Sapphire said with a smile, "We'll take care of the Vipers, you get the
Auroras."

"I never expected to see help from you two." Kuroihoshi replied, "I can't get the Auroras unless I use the Beam Smartgun and I dripped it when I got hit."

"We'll provide cover for you then." Yoshi6400 said.

StarDragon002 then dashed up to the Vipers and slashed through two of them with its tail. Kuroihoshi took the distraction and fired the jets at the back of the Shadow Mage. The black mobile suit hovered over the ground and flew towards the gun lying on the ground. The
Aurora fighters flew cloaked overhead and they fired at the Shadow Mage, launching debris into the air as the shots hit the ground.

"Almost there..." Kuroihoshi said to herself making the Shadow Mage attempt to reach for the Beam Smartgun. With a flick of a joystick, she had it ahd quickly attached it to a power cable. Kuroi then stepped on a foot pedal, tilted one joystick back, and tiled one joystick back. The Shadow mage responded, shifting its weight, firing a veriner and turning around. The sensors of the BeamSmartgun immediately got to work, scanning for the invisible enemies. "Come on target lock... don't fail me now..." she said as multiple colored shapes flashed across her viewscreens.

The shapes finally stopped at a point and the outline of a group of fighters appeared. "Gotcha!" Kuroihoshi yelled as she pulled the weapon trigger on her right joystick The Shadow Mage fired a blue beam of charged megaparticles up into the air and it sweeped across the fighters, eliminating them in one shot.

"Hey Kuroi, we need a little help here..." 6400 said through the com link as the last three Vipers dodged through buildings. "They've wisened up and are hiding in a more crowded part of the city. Can you get over here?"

Kuroi checked with the group of Yo'shars and then commanded the Shadow Mage to dash down the street to the location of the StarDragon002. As the Shadow Mage made its way, Kuroi had to make some moves to dodge potshots from the Vipers in the area. A few minutes later, the Shadow Mage and the StarDragon met up and the pilots began to talk.

"Kuroi, I have an idea. I could link the scans from the Beam Smartgun with Sapphire's console. Then Sapphire could control the StarDragon's fin funnels with that info and we can take them out by remote."

"I think that should work." Sapphire added, punching some commands into a keyboard.

"Okay, I'll brodcast the info over this communications bandwidth," Kuroihoshi said, "and I'll get into the air so I'll be able to shoot down on them as well."

"So the plan it set, let's go." Yoshi6400 said.

"Deploying Fin Funnels..." announced Sapphire as she launched the six fin like devices and sent them flying through the streets and alleyways.

The Shadow Mage floated high above the city and pointed the Beam Smartgun downwards. The sensors immediately got to work and locked onto the three Vipers. Sapphire looked at the readouts and immediately sent the fin funnels to the nearest Viper. The targetted Viper dashed as fast as possible, but it was soon overtaken by the funnels and shot up.

"I have the second one in my sights!" Kuroihoshi exclaimed as she aimed down and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately, the gun didn't fire. "Darn... The gun needs time to condense more megaparticles. He's almost in a position where he'll be shielded from my scanners."

"Don't worry, I got him." Sapphire guided the fin funnels at full speed past empty vehicles and buildings, trying to get them to the enemy target. The fin funnels found their mark and fired, blowing a leg and arm off the Viper. The mobile suit then collapsed and Sapphire called the fin funnels to return.

"The last one is out of your range. I'll get it." Kuroi stated, tilting her joysticks forward and making Shadow Mage fall into a decent. The mobile suit flew towards the Viper, and soon was just behind it. "Launching INCOM system!" Kuroihoshi pushed a button on the side of her right joystick and a pod launched from the head of the Shadow Mage. The pod flew forward with its thrusters, attached to the mobile suit via a long wire, and flew beside the Viper. The INCOM flew around the Viper, impaling it with energy beam shots. The suit blew up afterwards and Kuroi retracted the INCOM back into its storage compartment on the head.

The StarDragon and Shadow Mage returned to the group of Yo'shars to see the pilots outside their suits rejoicing. "The battle is over!" they exclaimed while 6400, Sapphire, and Kuroihoshi climbed out of their mecha. The Yo'shar pilots explained the transmission that was just recently sent out to the three(who didn't hear the transmission because the sensor reading info took up the bandwidth) and they smiles with a sense of relief.

Later on, Kuroihoshi asked why Sapphire and 6400 were in the area. After a long discussion, the Yoshi Shadowmancer was informed of the happenings.

"I'm coming too." she said in a serious tone, "I have a score to settle with Havering."

"You're what?" Yoshi6400 exclaimed in surprise.

"Cool." Sapphire said.

"Oh, I guess it's okay. But first, we need to get back to my Crystal Fortress to put StarDragon002 and Shadow Mage into storage. Also, Sapphire needs to get some of her stuff." 6400 said before walking back to the StarDragon and climbing back in. The Yoshi God then typed away at his control console and attempted to send a message to the Spectrum. Unfortunately, all he got was an away message. "Where is CR?" he thought, "shouldn't he have been in the Spectrum?"
