Chapter CCXXXVIII:
A Third and a Fourth ~Multehx
A clanking of metal boots was heard behind Travallian. The Paratroopa spun around to take his first sight of the intruder. It was a knight, clad in simple silver armor, wearing a simple silver helmet with two ivory ox's horns on either side, curving upward. He shouldered a grand axe, almost two and a half feet from handle to either of its dual blades. It looked the Paratroopa in the eyes decisively, then spoke, "Well, evening there."
It looked at the sky, and though no mouth was visible from the shadowy depths within the helmet, the eyes seemed to indicate he was smiling happily.
"Wondrous night, isn't it?" the knight beamed. "Not a cloud in the sky, warm as summer when it's winter elsewhere, a breeze to take the edge of the heat off, not bad at all."
Travallian wasn't taken off guard by this friendly display. He sprung from his place, soaring through the night sky, his jump arching through the air and landing him on the roof he was on moments ago. As he stood, he grinned to himself in accomplishment. "That wasn't so hard," he thought.
A throat cleared behind him at that moment, quite obviously meant to get his attention. Turning, he looked at the knight, standing over him yet again.
Travallian half leapt back in shock. "How, How did–?!"
The knight
grinned, waving a finger. "Picked that
one up from Scilas," he side-commented and shrugged.
"Who knows how, I just find it best not to question it." He shifted
the axe to the other shoulder. "But you sir...that was no ordinary jump,
and those are no ordinary clothes. Why don't you tell me who you are for
starters, and what you're doing here?"
Frowning, the unusual creature in rather regal clothing shook his head. "How about first, you tell me about yourself."
Removing his axe
from its resting place, he shook it, pointed at the other. "You can call
me..." He thought for a moment, then responded
with "Oznek." Ok, it was on short notice, so it's the best I could muster...how does Tehx do it? "I'm a bit of a wanderer.
That's about all you get out of me. Now, spill it. Your name, reason for being
here, and I'm short on the local currency, any donations would be greatly
appreciated."

On a small planet, just left of this side of the sun of dimension 752, it was a normal day for the climate of the place. The warmth made for an abundance of rain and plant-life. But among these, something colder appeared in the sweltering jungle. From almost out of nowhere, a single metal plate entered the atmosphere and shot down to earth, hovering a foot or so off the ground. It was followed by more shaped pieces which seamlessly attached to the first. After a moment of this, the final piece fell into place, and Metallic Multehx snickered, cracking its iron knuckles.
It extended its arm and pulled its wrist up to look at it. A panel sprung open, revealing a computer interface. A series of numbers and computer codes scrawled by, numerous graphs flashed in and out, and finally the panel clicked shut. Metallic looked up and slowly scanned the area with its eyes.
"Planet: Fovrentia,” it said in a cold metallic voice as it assessed the situation. “Population: Some scattered towns and villages, and the local animal and plantlife. Temperature: 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Weather: Sunny, but rainy."
An exotic flower was crushed flat as it took a few casual steps about, studying the area further. It smirked and folded its arms, tapping a boot.
"Plans for sucess-"
It was cut off as it violently spasmed and an electronic jolt was audible. It fell to its knees and kept itself up with its hands until the noise stopped. It then got back to its feet and continued where it left off:
"Unstoppable."
It sneered and glanced about. "Totally Unstoppable. Let the Plague befall
them all."
