Chapter CCLXXXV: Interested and Concerned ~Chrono

Chrono smiled somewhat as he heard Keshi's reaction to him. He knew he was different from other Yoshies…or beings for that matter. Chrono nodded as Keshi began to tell the tale of his history.

He listened and was deeply in thought as Keshi continued on with his story. As he walked over to the mirror, Chrono held up his hand at his side. A small black ball of energy appeared to hover over his palm, as he listened to Keshi. He knew a bit about dark magic himself. When Keshi looked over at him, he quickly made the ball of dark energy disappear, smiling nervously. He didn't want Keshi to know that he knew things about dark energy and dark magic, just yet, but Chrono had a feeling that he had already knew he could use it. There were still some things that Chrono wasn't telling anyone yet.

Chrono nodded as Keshi continued.

He is a vampire, he thought to himself as he looked closely at Keshi; wait…I see his fangs now…why didn't I see them before? He shrugged. Probably just wasn't paying attention…but…he is probably that strong energy I felt…Yeah…That is no doubt…

Chrono yawned somewhat as Keshi continued, although not bored at all. He was quite interested in his tale. Chrono didn't know much about his ancestors, just a few stories his grandparents told him.

He looked at Keshi. "I don't know very much about my ancestors…my grandparents told me a few stories…but I was too young to understand. I know I am the Guardian of Time and Dreams…but, I still don't know where my grandparents descended and so on. But maybe…just maybe, you know some things about my ancestors. Please continue with all three questions if you will. I would like to hear more." He smiled somewhat.

Chrono looked at his hands and closed his eyes for a moment. He stretched out his arms as they started to glow a golden color. He muttered something in a different language and then suddenly, a ball of energy appeared in-between his hands. It slowly started to take shape and turned into the Staff of Chronos.

Chrono grinned a bit, shrugged, and said, "Heh, sorry…I kinda like to keep my rod in my sights. Things could really get thrown off balance if I was to let it slip into the wrong hands…"
