Chapter CCCXXVII: A Black Heart Turned Gold ~Chrono
Chrono jumped slightly when he felt Jeremy’s hand touch his shoulder. “J..Jeremy. You scared me. But
that’s like you isn’t it… sneaking around in the dark…” he said.
Jeremy laughed. “Yes. I love to do that. Looking for me? Where did you
get this you hold in your hands, boy?”
“It’s a long story…” Chrono said, shaking his
head, frowning, and then looking down at the egg. He listened to what Jeremy
was then saying. “I thought I had been sensing something strange ever since I
got here…I just wasn’t sure where it was coming from or what it was,” he said,
but then he smiled. “I’d be glad to help in anyway I can. I am kinda looking for a fight anyway…gotta
take some stress off of my chest. But I haven’t seen Bulaklak
anywhere…I am not sure where she is.”
He was then somewhat startled by Kenzo. Chrono then got a sarcastic angry-ish
expression on his face. “Watch our backs…?” he said under his breath.
But then, he chuckled it off. Chrono was in high spirits considering at what just
happened to his grandparents. He was the only one left alive in his family. Chrono smiled, chuckled slightly, scratched the side of his
face, and said, “Eh…Then…I guess we follow ‘the might K-Oznek’.”

Tachibana was in his non-anthro wolf form,
walking in a forest, hanging his head. It seemed as if tears were making marks
in his facial fur.
“Did… did I really kill them? How could I’ve…why did
I…?” he kept repeating to himself. “Am I evil? …No… I was under an evil one’s
control. The Black Demon Hearts…I was a victim…they will pay…they will
definitely pay!” he snarled, growled, and howled.
He sighed after he did. He closed his eyes and started to glow. The
white light that engulfed him changed shape. When the brilliant light faded, he
was in a human form.
Tachibana then suddenly teleported behind Chrono.
“Chrono…” he said softly.
Chrono jumped when he recognized the voice. “Ta…Ta…Tachibana…” he said slowly
as he turned around, fear filling him.
Tachibana frowned, nodded, and said sadly, “Chrono
Yoshi… I am very, truly sorry for what I have done to you. Please forgive me.
Let me make it up to you.”
Chrono cocked a non-existent eyebrow and said, “What are you trying to pull?”
Tachibana frowned. “I guess I deserve that. I am not lying. I am trying
to help. Just tell me what I can do to at least make a little bit up.”
Chrono frowned slightly and turned to Keshi. “Think
he could help us on our little quest we are about to do…?” He waited for a
reply.

On a planet that was close to the one Chrono
and the others were on, a citadel was floating. It was a floating citadel that
was over an ocean. At the top, there was a woman that was shrouded in darkness.
Her glowing eyes peered through the darkness at the monsters at bay beneath
her.
“Akemi, come fourth to
What seemed like sakura petals swirled in a circle. The petals disappeared and a beautiful woman
appeared. This woman had the same kind of uniform that Tachibana had on. She
had long, silky light blue hair. She bowed to one knee in front of the woman
sitting on the throne in darkness.
“You called me, Queen Chinaho?” Akemi asked.
“Indeed. Tachibana has betrayed us and went the goody-goody way.” she
said.
“Yes, my queen. He was a weak waste of energy.” Akemi replied.
“I expect you of doing a better job of destroying that ridiculous
reptile for me. He is nothing but a nuisance. He is in our way for stealing all
the energy we need to rule the Universe…no…the Multiverse!”
Chinaho laughed.
“But…there are others that are stronge–” Akemi
said, but was cut of by Chinaho.
“You dare defy my words!?” she yelled.
“N…no, my queen. I will exterminate this pest for good.”
“Very good then. There is no room for failure. Get the job
done.”
“As you wish, my queen.” she said and disappeared as the petals appeared
again.
