Chapter CCCXL:
Mental Edge ~Multehx
The village was in its waking hours as a newcomer set foot outside its perimeter. He timidly adjusted his spectacles before knocking a gloved hand on the equivalent of a gate. As the "guards" came to see who it was, they found themselves presented with a rather odd, if not unusual, fellow.
For starters, he certainly did not appear to belong in this atmosphere. For one, he was the perfect picture of a bookish researcher. He was sporting a tan safari hat, a tan shirt, matching khaki-colored khakis, and rather well travelled brown boots. He wore a thick pair of red, horn-rimmed spectacles over his eyes…as that seemed to be the odd part about him. This fellow lacked a face save eyes and a mouth. From the neck up to his wild yellow locks, there was nothing but these three lone features.
He smiled nervously at the guards, tipping his hat. Clearing his throat, he spoke in a quite soft-spoken, meek manner. "Um, yes, I have come to see a mister Lich Yoshi von Kippo about some matters? I do believe I might be of assistance to the man, as I heard you folks did have a rather 'unusual' incident last night?"

the two eyeing him up, the man produced a multi-dim-passport and flashed it to

two shrugged, and showed this guest in.
