Chapter CCCXLIII: Seeing Stars ~Prism

"...YOU!" Prism growled, her large wings conveniently folding around her as she climbed out of the hot spring. "...DIE!"

Her eyes grew red in rage, and suddenly the atmosphere seemed to shake around Kenzo.

Promptly, a large yellow star dropped from the sky, crushing Kenzo beneath it. It took some time for him to climb out from underneath the thing, so Prism took the extra time to quickly wash her clothes in the spring, summoning the wind crystal to quickly dry them (as well as herself). Within minutes, she was clean, dry, clothed, and cracking her knuckles as Kenzo finally got the star off of him.

"I can explain...er...I didn't mean to...uh I mean you look very ni–"

Another star, slightly smaller, conked him on the head.

"I suggest you run, unless you'd like to be a can opener," Prismaya snorted.

Kenzo glanced upward to see a large group of meteors heading towards the area.

"Aw, shiii–"

Before he was able to finish his sentence, Kenzo dashed off, the Hoshi quickly flying behind. He dodged a meteor, then a second, then a third, and tripped over another one. He continued to follow a similar pattern until he reached the town, screaming, "SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM THIS CRAZY LIZARD!"

Daedalus glanced out the window of the restaurant to see a robot of some kind being chased by a meteor shower. "Ah, that's the princess now," he muttered. "Let me fetch her."

He quickly stood and left the restaurant, Chrono and Tachibana curiously following behind. Prism emerged from the wilderness, now in Divine form, her six wings ruffled and her holy aura tinted with red, the color of rage. She floated in midair and pointed her staff at Kenzo, who had backed himself into a corner.

"P-please....it was an accident...it..."

"SILENCE!" Prismaya Divinity's voice boomed.

"Well, well, I see we're making friends, Princess," Daedalus muttered as he stepped forward.

Chrono and Tachibana glanced at each other quizzically. This six-winged demon was a princess?

"Are you always so kind to new acquaintances, or is this guy just special?"

"You DON'T UNDERSTAND," Prism growled. "He saw me bathing!"

Suddenly Daedalus' face grew hot with rage. He grabbed Kenzo and shoved him against the wall, whispering, "Don't you ever try anything like that again. If you think she's scary, you ain't seen nothin' yet." He released the robot and glanced back to Prismaya, looking cool and collected again. "Please, Princess, he meant no harm. He apologizes profusely for his actions." He looked at Kenzo, cracking his knuckles. "Don't you?"

Kenzo nodded shakily.

"Excellent," the Hoshi male grinned. "Now, Princess, revert back to normal and calm down. We don't want to make our hosts feel uncomfortable."

He gestured to Chrono and Tachibana, who still looked quite bewildered. Prism nodded and closed her eyes as the Divine Crystal emerged from her torso, separating into the different shards and scattering into their proper places, save the Shard of Light which remained around her neck. Her hair, which had grown past her feet, now shortened to its proper length, and four wings disappeared, leaving only two. Her white Divine robes disappeared, leaving her regular clothing. She tied her hair back in a ponytail, then looked back at the damage she had done in the wilderness.

"Tsk, I'll have to use the Earth shard to repair the meteor damage." She looked at Chrono and Tachibana and smiled, now perfectly calm. "Sorry about that. I'm Prismaya Styrani." She extended her hand to the two strangers.
