Chapter CCCXLVI: Interrogation? ~Prism

Daedalus sighed as Prismaya, Chrono, and Tachibana introduced themselves, eyeing the direction in which he had seen Kenzo disappear. "Princess," he began. "My sword is in need of some minor repairs, not to mention sharpening. I think I will head to the local blacksmith and see what he can do while you rest."

Prism shook her head. "Nonsense. You must stay with me. We'll go to the blacksmith together."

"But Princess–"

"I insist," Prism snorted. "You agreed to stay at my side, and so you shall." Besides, I need to have a talk with that robot. Kenzo, was it? she added mentally. She looked to their two hosts. "I'm starving. What's for breakfast?"

After the two Hoshies, Yoshi, and wolf had completely gorged themselves, Prism excused herself and quietly slipped out of the pub, Daedalus watching her suspiciously. After asking a local the location of the nearest blacksmith, she jogged a way down the main road to where the blacksmith resided.

"Well, well, well..." she smirked, spotting Kenzo and Ratch upon entering. “Well, if it isn't the infamous Ratch. I figured you had to be nearby if voyeur-boy here was around." She glanced at the knight momentarily. "Sorry, kiddo, but surely you understand my predicament back there."

Kenzo merely nodded nervously, Ratch appearing all the more angry. The blacksmith looked significantly terrified, having seen the encounter earlier. She gave him an assuring smile, before looking at the two robots and having a seat.

"Now, I've been looking for the crew of the Spectrum. Apparently they've split up if you're here by yourselves." She paused a moment. "I've been...otherwise occupied for a while, but now I want to know what's going on and where everybody is, and nobody's leaving until you tell me everything you know." She opened her palm and her staff appeared in a flash of light. "Everything."

"You're just the nicest gal a guy could possibly want to meet," Daedalus muttered, entering the blacksmith's shop with a disgruntled expression on his face. "Come on, leave the damn robot alone. You've done enough damage already."

"You don't get it, Dae," Prism snorted. "You agreed to stay with me until I found the crew of the Spectrum. That was our goal, correct? Well, here are two bona fide members of said crew. Meet Kenzo, that's the peeping tom, and Ratch. I'm not letting them out of my sight till I know where the rest of the crew is."

"Well then..." Daedalus sighed, scratching his head. "I suppose we have no other choice but to confront them on this matter."

"And what do you intend to do to us, old man?" Ratch growled, cracking his metallic knuckles.

The older Hoshi grinned. "Please do not underestimate me simply because of my age," he replied. "To do so could cost you your life – if robots do indeed live."

"Either way, no one's leaving here until you tell me where everyone is and how far we've progressed in our mission," Prism continued as she crossed her arms, a serious expression on her face. "And if we find it best, we will join you until we are reunited with the others." She paused for a moment. "The question is whether or not you will cooperate."
