History: Artanis became Praetor of the Khas District after the death of Fenix, who was a great friend of the Markior's. He was the one that carried one of the twin crystals, the Uraj and the Khalis, to the Xel'Naga Temple to destroy every Zerg on the face of the planet Shakuras. In short; he has played a valuable role in the battle against the Zerg.

Artanis is the youngest Protoss to achieve the coveted rank of Praetor. Despite his youth and relative lack of experience, he is a bold and dynamic leader. Although Artanis was a strong believer of the former Conclave and the destiny of the Protoss, he still harbors a deep respect and admiration for Tassadar and the Tribal unification for which he fought. Artanis hopes to become as great a hero as Tassadar, a hope that may lead the young warrior to forsake his better judgment in his search for glory.

He has grown up over the years, becoming a little more serious, having attained more knowledge and experience as time passed. He still fights with an unrivaled passion, the blood of a true Protoss warrior burning in his veins.

Phys Description: Green/teal skin, yellow eyes. About 7 feet in height. His "hair", which is actually cartilage bone, hangs down behind his head in thick strands. His legs, like all Protoss, are bend backwards like a wolf's hindlegs. He wears a number pieces of Protoss armor and carries psi-blades around his wrists.

Abilities: The usual Protoss abilities of telekinesis, psychic communication and such. In his scout vessel, he's a number 1 pilot. With rapid anti-matter missiles and anti-ground attack as well, he's a force to be reckoned with. Out of his Scout, he has studied Healing, a profession new in the Protoss religion of Grey.
