Prism

Name: Prismaya Spectra Estele Styrani (NB: formerly Prismaya Spectra Yoshii)
Age: 23
HomePlanet: MichinoHoshi
History: Prism hatched from a mysterious crystal egg in the Mushroom Kingdom. Queen Plum, ruler at this time, took the Yoshi child in to be a playmate for her daughter, Peach. Prism was happy at the castle, but the happiness was short-lived, for then came the first Koopan invasion on the Mushroom Kingdom. The mushrooms managed to beat back young Bowser and his minions, but Plum was assassinated in the attack. Peach, still a child, angrily ordered the young Yoshi to escape, secretly blaming her for the death of her mother. In tears, Prism did so, reaching Yo'ster Isle soon after.

Prism made her home in Yo'ster Isle, while avoiding the affections of the rather lame Boshi. When she reached her fourteenth year, the Yoshi/Koopan war began. She was somewhat involved, but because of her age and lack of experience she did not fight much, but tended to the wounded. At the War's end, Boshi haughtily declared himself leader of the island. Rather steamed, Prism grasped the opportunity to take a vacation from the isle and its troubles. It was soon after this that the Star Road was destroyed by Smithy's Exor.

Yoshi, the green one himself, soon restored equality to Yo'ster Isle, and the Star Road was restored to its former glory. With the coming of peace, Prism relievedly returned to the island and her previous lifestyle.

A few short years later, Prism was greeted by a small star. The star proclaimed that he was Geno, the one who had descended from the Star Road in order to collect the Star Pieces. He turned her into a star, and the two flew to the Road. Prism then discovered that she was the Princess of MichinoHoshi, the kingdom of the stars. She met her mother, Quartzina, for the first time, and it was explained to her that there was a Divine Crystal which powers the Star Road, which was shattered in an effort to purge it of darkness. It was up to Prism, and her shard of light, to retrieve each of the shards of the Crystal.

She did so, fighting each shard's guardian and winning each crystal. Along the way, she made many friends, as well as an archrival, Magikia. After winning all of the shards, she was soon confronted by an evil spirit of the Shard of Darkness. Prism combined the elemental shards with her Shard of Light, creating the Divine Crystal. The crystal then merged into her body, turning her into Prismaya Divinity. In this form, she destroyed the dark spirit and restored the Divine Crystal to its proper place.

With the restoration of the Divine Crystal, Prism spent quite some time at the Sanctuary of the goddess Luna. There she made many more friends, as well as getting to know those she had already made much better. Soon after, however, she felt the need to return to her kingdom. And she did so.

It was then that the Zolott incident took place. Prism sensed trouble elsewhere, and when she left in an attempt to stop it, she became trapped on Zolott, and the rest is history.

Since she returned to MichinoHoshi, she has spent much time in great physical and mental training. She has matured greatly during this time...

Phys Descrip: Prism is a Hoshi, or StarYoshi. Her skin is colored as a rainbow. Her body is now stronger than ever. She is approximately 5'5" at this point. She has long royal blue hair which goes down to her waist when let down. She normally keeps the bulk of it in a ponytail high on her head, with two strands hanging down in front of her face. She has royal blue eyes as well. On her back is a pair of white feathery wings. Prism is always seen with a necklace upon which hangs a crystal: the Shard of Light. When in battle, Prism dons purple and silver Hoshian armor.

As all Hoshies do, Prism has the ability to turn into a star. Her appearance at this time is fairly simple. Just a little glowing cyan star which can float in the air at will.

When merged with the Divine Crystal. Prism becomes Prismaya Divinity. She wears a flowing white robe/gown with a cyan sash. Her hair grows past her ankles and her height changes to approximately 5'7". Two extra pairs of wings sprout from her back (making 6 in total) and even her staff morphs, becoming the Divine Rod.

Abilities: Various light-based magic attacks. She can also summon the power of the elemental shards of the Divine Crystal (which is the Power source of the Star Road). This gives her the ablity to use other elements in battle. In the past five years she has spent a great deal of time training physically, and can now use her Crystalo Staff as a great weapon. Otherwise, she can merge with the Divine Crystal, morphing into a greater form, Prismaya Divinity. She can also turn into a little star. When in this form she will slowly heal herself and she can easily evade attacks at the speed of light. This form is especially useful for escaping danger.

Anything else: Prism is prone to darkness attacks, as dark power nearly killed her once. Though she has matured, she still tends to be emotionally insecure for a reason even she cannot seem to figure out. Could this be because of the memory loss? I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
