Chapter Summary #1

Five years have passed since the Time Bender, Sir Pseudo Havering, was killed by a band of warriors on a world of his creation: Zolott, the planet made from scraps and fragments of other worlds. In the momentous struggle to kill him, S.H.A.D.D.A.P Agent 707 Multehx disappeared and the Xel'Naga Guardian of the Yoshi Race, The Markior, sacrificed himself to destroy the Genesis, the mighty flying fortress. Those involved were sent back to the worlds they had been plucked from, their minds cleared of their memories, while some remained to return home another way.

But, according to the Fa'dieli saying, "Time is like a river, and history repeats…"

A Council of Twelve, Eleven of Havering's species, the Twilighter, and an Infect, a powerful robot of Havering's creation, gathered together to seek out the Creation's Weapons: armaments of great power, and the most powerful of them all, the Creation Weapon, so as to use their power to revive the great Pseudo Havering.

Alarmed by this, the Rip Watcher known only as CR (his real name remains unknown to most) gathered together a band of heroes known as the Spectrum Wanderers, for their vessel through space was left by Havering, known as the Spectrum All Terrain Train. They were Omega Maroak, the robotic superhero of Parallel Earth, Scilas, the shady, mysterious assassin of the same world, Kenzo Yhezl, the Mechna Knight of Caelum, the ex-Infect Ratch Havoc, and an enigmatic young human by the name of Ian, to act as the mechanic on board the Spectrum. But surely he is not there for that reason alone…

Knowing the great power the Council wields, CR was not satisfied with his group of five, and resorted to call those involved in Zolott the first time around, even though their memories were regaining themselves slowly, as well as many others. First was the Yoshi God of Warriors, Yoshi6400, and his girlfriend Goddess of Healing, Sapphire. They plucked Naaro Karukylis from his ceremonial installation as leader of the Karmali race of Yoshin as the amulet signifying it passed onto his wrist, him bringing his wife Rynn, and his child, Kai. Then came the human Shinsei Aku, with an obnoxious Koopa, Jade, stowing away on board as they left. The 36th Clone of Lord Mazzic Antagon was recruited, followed by the Technicolor Hoshian Princess Prismaya with her powers over the night sky. With his hunt for marbles continuing, the great (or so he thinks) Kyanosa Canopus, and the Arcanian, Kaye, were brought into the foray. Another ceremony was cut short as Dyluck Thanatos ("Call me 'Lich'") and Ark Beruga Yoshi von Kippo, the younger now a Fa'dieli Guardian too, were drawn in - the elder brother suffering from his teleportation sickness, Heratu's Syndrome. Next came the Precipiwizard Rainstorm Yoshi, of the planet Nimbus, his powers over climate surely useful.

Yet, other forces were also gathering - sinister and vile, to seek the Creation's Weapons for themselves. The Shadow Dimension dwelling Yoshi, Kurayami, with his fearful dark powers, still with DNA he had collected from Havering, continued to seek a transformation to an omnipotent form, sensing the Weapons as a key and the Wanderers a tool to acquire them. He wielded the Nightmare Obsidian, which would trap the powers of six Nightmares for its use. He had already imprisoned one, Darkness, but the other five remained…
Meanwhile, the Yoshi killing Grand Admiral of the Tairez Imperial Battlefleet, Richter Sprint, is also seeking the Creation's Weapon, and with the power of the Tairez Empire on his side, it will be no easy feat to stop him.
Another force brews in the form of Rexxor Malgonus, a Tyrannosaurian raised from the dead by an evil priest, the two colluding to get their revenge on Naaro.

As they journeyed past a planet, a Protoss fleet intercepted the Spectrum and arrested its occupants for the disappearance of Markior (who was a hero in their race). After their "slight" misunderstanding (which resulted in the loss of a few Protoss lives), our heroes escaped and resumed their journey, landing on a planet on which Vector Sprint, the hyper fast running Yoshi from the future, and adopted brother of Richter, joined them by accident. Nightmares of a world called Cocytus, a planet of death, began to haunt Naaro's sleep. Seeking answers, he journeyed into "the Void", a place of the dead, to seek answers, only to be turned back. Rainstorm, too, was haunted by dreams, except his had been already coming for a long time as part of a curse in a war he had fought in long ago - he sought the remedy for his nightly images of terror. Another nightmare: this time for Ian, being visited by none other than Havering himself as he slept.

Leaving this world, they passed another one, however, this planet was a breeding ground for the Protoss' immortal enemy, the insectoid Zerg. Originally seeking to recapture the Wanderers, the Praetor Artanis helped them fight them off as he realised his race's mistake and set them on their course for their next world, none other than Fa'diel. This was because of the Mana Sword, and as CR listened to the Council discuss their plans worded in foreign tongues (Lich translated), they landed only to find that two members of the council, Nictem and NecronimusII had come before them. The Council knew that the Guardian of the
Water Palace, none other than Lich's good friend, Nase Porami, would be a terrific benefactor of information regarding the Sword's location. After beating him up (only to run as the two brothers arrived), they travelled to Kippo. Luckily for them and unfortunately for Lich and Ark, they drew them away from the Water Palace, giving them time to get to the Mana Sword (after seeing its location on a tablecloth in the inn). They were driven away by Ian, who was joined by the mercenary Jaded. They had to go through Potos, and after seeking information there and not getting it, they busted up the town before running through the nearby woods to the Sword, and stealing it by taking the stone it rested in. They beat Lich and Ark, and Richter, who had arrived en scene a moment too late. Though they were joined by Artanis alone, they were threatened with capture by Richter. However, the emerald in the pendant around Ark's neck, a childhood present to him from Lich, began to glow, and teleported Richter back to his battleship, the Pentastar, mystifying both of them.

But they were not the only ones with a crisis on their hands - Naaro was stalked by Moloch, the same person who had told him to turn back in the Void, who gave him a message: Come to Cocytus. In a dream he saw that a Creation's Weapon lay in wait on the world, tempting him further. Soon, he woke up in a ship driven by Rexxor with Vector, Ian, Rynn and Kai, bound for the planet of the undead; Jaded stowing away.

Also, uncharacteristically, Kyanosa stormed out of the Spectrum after being confronted by Kaye who had had enough of him. Kaye went to seek him, only to fight him as he wished to be alone and vented his anger. He eventually fainted from exhaustion after flattening a good deal of the nearby forest with his powers, re-awakening in his cabin after Kaye brought him back. Redemption?

Alerted by the Mana Sword's theft, the Elementals, the eight magical beings of Mana called for a meeting of Guardians the next day. Lich returned to the Spectrum briefly to alert the Wanderers of his staying on Fa'diel and discovered more enigmatic qualities about Ian, with Prism. The brothers then traveled to the meeting to give their testimony, only to step into the middle of the long quarrel between Theutes Whalki, Guardian of the
Fire Palace and Zulan Tipsan, Guardian of the Desert. Threatened by Zulan, the jewel acted again, this time paralysing him. The Earth Elemental, Gnome, studied the jewel to find that it was the Emerald of Loparo, a jewel with great arcane abilities used as a power source for the Mana Fortress. Another, as revealed by Lumina, the Light Elemental, was the Ruby of Erisot, stationed in the bend of the Cyan Arc. To return the Mana Sword to Fa'diel, they would have to seek six other jewels to have enough power to counter it as long as the Sword remained off the Mana world. It (as Lumina has no gender) took the brothers away to its Palace in Gold City.

The Spectrum left Fa'diel, while another member mysteriously appeared on it: a human by the name of Joshua Renil. Meanwhile, the prisoners arrived on Cocytus to discover the purpose of their capture: helped along by the Black Priest Belial, Naaro was to become the physical host of the Essence of Evil, and the others were to be his test subjects. The incarnation was successful, but held back by Belial, he did not destroy the others as Jaded burst onto the scene demanding their release and the Creation's Weapon on Cocytus. Belial decided that they would play a little game - get to the pyramid they were standing on within three days after being teleported to another part of the planet, without flying, teleporting, or without using many of their powers, lest the cursed soil claim them. It appears that Jaded knows the truth about Ian as they ran across the planet…

While, on the Spectrum, the Twilight Council decided to reveal itself to the Wanderers and left after a small altercation, the Cocytus prisoners arrived at the pyramid and fought with Naaro. Rynn told him to fight the Essence of Evil inside him though her love for him, and received a message from the Essence's opposite, the Prime Dimensional Essence, to bring Naaro to the planet of
Zion. As he fainted from exhaustion, Rynn took him on Rexxor's ship, the Andromeda, with Vector piloting, and left the cursed planet. Jaded and Ian entered the pyramid seeking the weapon, the fiery sword of Darius the Younger. Vole and Jadea of the Council had taken it moments before them, and after pursuing them through the catacombs, they retrieved it, and Ian teleported them back to the Spectrum. The Andromeda ran into the Pentastar along the way to Zion, performing the old trick of attaching itself to its radar systems to avoid detection before the larger ship entered hyperspace.

Rainstorm told the others of two legendary swords, Guardian and Slayer, on Nimbus, and the Spectrum headed for it, quickly joined by the mysterious Sebastion Ebask. The Pentastar found the Spectrum and began to attack it. After doubting his abilities at first, Yoshi6400 used his superpowers along with Kyanosa's to cripple the ship, the battlecruiser limping towards the Tairez owned world of Houshi to be joined by its sister ship, the Ragnarok. However, a small fighter left the battle and began to tail the Spectrum

Vector, Rynn and Naaro arrived at
Zion, and flew through its white healing energies, the Essence's presence removed from the Karmali warrior. They returned to the Spectrum, to be joined by Vector's own ship, Merlin, boasting a smart-alec computer. Suddenly, Kurayami, in the company of a warp drone, passed the Spectrum, hot in the pursuit of another Nightmare, Rage. They landed on a nearby planet and were confronted by the Nightmare, but Kurayami sided with them and imprisoned the Nightmare in the Obsidian. Sensing that the Obsidian would become a complete Creation's Weapon with the other four Nightmares, CR let him join them, much to the other member's wariness. As they left, 6400 found the metalloy boots that Multehx wore, and displayed them to everyone in the lounge area. However, they were ignored as Kenzo made a re-appearance after being stuffed inside a cupboard (as he was simply a suit of armour, this was possible).

Naaro left for Yoshin in the Andromeda, only to find upon his arrival that he was convicted of stealing the amulet that had been given to him in his ceremony, and was arrested by a Yautja, another race residing on, but not of, Yoshin. CR revealed that Havering would have to be sealed in the mid-dimension four times for him to truly die. Rynn had a dream of Naaro's arrest. Then, everyone landed on Nimbus and took up residence in a nearby inn. Rainstorm knew that his past needed to be resolved and he needed to cure himself of the curse of nightmares before he went for the two swords, so he headed for the castle where he had it placed on him.

Meanwhile, things on Yoshin began to heat up. Firstly, Naaro was put before the council of elders, their discrimination towards his race evident and welling up hate inside him. He summoned a mobile suit known as Red Midas and fled for the Yoshira del Sol islands, specifically the temples on them, for another Creation's Weapon.

Ian left the group as a force inside him made itself known, a rather familiar one at that, and awaited the help of a professor and his robotic assistant to let it come to fruition. It would have happened had not CR followed him and forced it to flee. Meanwhile, Kyanosa considered his treatment as an outcast of the group…it seems the outlandish fellow has a deeper side…

Sebastion left for the capital but met an old "friend", Drax, along the way, who also is in the Weapon hunt…

Naaro touched down at
Merijan Island and entered the temple there, seeking the next Weapon, and came across the Yautja who arrested him. In the proceeding battle, Naaro gains the upper hand and obtains the Halcyon, whose owner speaks to him:
"I am Telaia Yoshindra, the ancient protector of Yoshin. I lie in eternal sleep now, but my sword, Halcyon, still remains. When the time has come for Yoshin to face its final hour, wield this mighty blade above the fields of battle...only the hand of the One Who Defies Stone may decide the fate of those closest to him. The sword speaks with the voice of he who wields him...its will is your will. Use it as you wish, but remember not to tangle with its great power...also, remember the Fate of All Gods...the Devil's
Sunrise is soon arriving."
Suddenly, the Global Ocular Destroyer Satellite (GODS) fires upon
Merijan Island, sinking it, destroying Red Midas and knocking Naaro out cold. He awoke in an army infirmary on nearby Yoshitopia, realises he has to return to Karmalia immediately, and leaves the sword on his bedside table. His doctor decides that it would be good to run experiments on…

Vector, piloting Merlin, landed on Yoshin, moments before the Pentastar and the Ragnarok came into orbit around Yoshin, tailed by a detachment of carrier ships. Richter had traced Vector to the world, and now, in his hate for Yoshies, set about destroying the planet, focusing on
North Yoshin City first. Vector found that the fighter that had followed the Spectrum was Lorel, an old friend of his. They flew towards North Yoshin City, and all seems lost…
Naaro arrives at the home of the scientist who had created Red Midas, Dr. Yoszhi von Denker, and gets himself a new mobile suit: the Horus. Immediately after leaving in it, he engages in a fight with four Viper type suits, and is helped a mysterious arrival: Meister Strager, piloting the J-Vector.

As if the attack on Yoshin isn't enough, the Council came together to "divide and conquer": that is, go to many of the planets housing Creation's Weapons and take them in groups. CR heard of this (being Rip Watcher means he can be omnipresent at times…) and created rip holes to divide the Wanderers up to counter them, however, Scilas, Jaded, Ian and Omega were asked to stay with him, as well as Rainstorm. He returned to the castle, that place of pain in the war he had fought in a long time ago, and removed the curse placed on him by destroying a particular crystal.

Rynn found herself meeting her old best friend, Alara, who, in revenge for Rynn's seeming to leave her to die, did battle with her. Rynn escapes (the method not to her knowledge, but CR has to do with it…) and appeared at her home on Yoshin. Little did she know what she had stepped into the middle of

Kaye, Kyanosa and Mazzic find themselves in
Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, on First Earth (that is, Earth as we know it). Thanks to Kyanosa's "Magikal Know-all Book", they discovered that the weapon is on some sort of mobile suit in the area, but so were Vole and Jadea of the Council… the two groups bump into each other in a restaurant…

Vector continues in the battle, and makes a break for space to take on the ships. Merlin is "made non-functional" as a hyperlaser slices through him, but Vector escapes in a lifepod, only to be drawn in by the Pentastar's tractor beam, and is made the prisoner of Richter…

6400 and Sapphire were sent to Yamauchi, and found themselves in the Warrior God's Crystal Fortress. After receiving a message from Naaro, the two entered the StarDragon 002 and messaged CR to open a warphole to Yoshin, which he does.
The couple rendezvous with Naaro, and give his suit "a lift" to Yoshitopia, where a large plume of smoke rises…

Little does everyone but CR know that the Council are now making their presence felt on their homeworlds…will they succeed and revive Havering? Only time will tell, but time is definitely in the hands of one particular demon…
