Chapter XVI: Premonition of Evil -Artemis

Come on Yatina! You're slower than a tortoise in a snowstorm! Fang taunted in her mind. Artemis laughed and walked to the doorway of her hut. She slid on her boots, and tied them. Then, she took the dagger that hung on the wall, and slid it into her right boot. As she stood up, Artemis slung her quiver and bow onto her back. She walked out of her hut, and suddenly noticed that her sword was missing.
Fang, someone stole my sword! Call out the puppy patrol! She exclaimed. A large, gray wolf walked up behind her, and purpously walked into the back of her legs, causing her to stumble. Artemis laughed, and she turned around to scratch his ears.
You left it at the temple Yatina, don't you remember? You had attempted to teach Jake how to sword fight, but that didn't quite work. Mostly because that guy's an idiot. He replied. Artemis glared at her wolf companion, and flicked his nose.
Jake is not an idiot. He's just...
Slower than a tortoise in a snowstorm? Fang interrupted. Artemis sighed, knowing that she wasn't able to win this argument.
Come on fuzz-ball, we have to get to the temple. Artemis told him, then slid onto his back. Carefully, she took a hand-hold of his fur, and they were off, running through the forest fast as a deer. As the duo quickly approched the temple, Artemis pulled back on his fur, causing Fang to stop short. He turned his head to look at her. Artemis' face was expressonless, but she was feeling very scared at the moment. There was something about to happen...and it had to do with the temple.
Please let Jake be alrihght. Come on Fang, go! Artemis told Fang, and they were soon off again once more, headed for the temple.
