Chapter XXXII: Mr. Saturns Village -Kyle

After being propelled through the endless black void for what seemed to be 5 hours, the hovering gateway spit Kyle out into a small village. He fell close to 70 feet to the ground, but luckily the roof of a small hut broke his fall as he crashed through it. He blacked out as he hit the ground. As he came to about 4 hours later, the first thing he saw was an odd looking face staring down at him. He then realized that he wasn't staring at a face, it was the creature's whole body! It's elongated, grotesquely large nose stood out nearly a foot from the rest of its body. It's eyes were microscopic black dots embedded in its pale, pink flesh. It's body was completely hairless except for one long, thick strand sticking straight up out of the top of its head, bearing a bright red bow. No mouth was visible, but as it began to speak, it opened up. It's voice was loud, obnoxious, and boisterous, and it spoke in a strange dialect that was almost impossible to understand:

"HEY THERE, BOING! ZOOM! ARE YOU OKAY DOING, BOING?"

Kyle jumped to his feet, startled by the odd-looking creature. He looked around the claustrophobic hut and noticed a number of ladders leading up to small platforms carrying telephones and cash registers. Kyle wondered to himself why ladders, seeing that none of the creatures had hands capable of climbing them, only large, odd feet. He suddenly had an epiphany and realized where he was. Jeff had told him endless stories about the small, secluded Mr. Saturn village. This was it! Kyle ran out the door and looked around at the lush, green, hilly countryside surrounding the hidden town. Mr. Saturns were everywhere, walking around and shouting cheery boings and zooms to each other. The ground reverberated with a funny, deep, earthy song full of drum and oboe sounds that made you want to get up and dance.

Kyle grinned. He had studied the town maps that Jeff had brought back with him after his adventures for hours, and he knew exactly where he was. "If I head west, through these caves, I'll end up on the banks of the Grapefruit River, and from there, I can go west further and end up back in Threed!" He smiled to himself and headed through the caves. He met small opposition there, mainly consisting of Tough Mobile Sprouts and Ramblin' Evil Mushrooms, which wasn't a problem with his hockey stick in hand. He finally managed to exit the long series of tunnels and caves, but his jaw dropped when he looked out.

The Grapefruit River was no where to be seen. In it's place was a dense forest. He saw a narrow path leading out through it. "Well, I'm not going to get any answers staying here with the Mr. Saturns, so I guess it's time to move out..." While heading along the path, though, he began to hear a faint melody being played on what sounded like a harmonica. He smiled at the thought of company and began to ran toward the music.
