Chapter LXI: Vector's Past -Vector

As Vector lay in the A-Grav bed, he started thinking. The past that he had told everyone was a complete lie. He hoped that Markior wouldn’t try to read his mind, and find out his true past. He pushed the button to de-activate the repulsion field and slipped his shoes on. He walked out of the massive building, and walked into the woods. His ankle still hurt, and he winced every time he stepped on it. He sat on a hill, and looked up at the stars. Vector awoke the next morning, still sleeping on the hill. He walked down, and noticed NM and Markior on the ground. "What the crap?" Vector said aloud, to no one in particular. He searched through his personal belongings, witch wasn’t much, but found noting that could revive anyone. He dragged NM and Markior into the building, and made sure they were physically unhurt. He could check NM, but knew nothing of Markior. His stomach growled. Eating was of utmost importance to him. He checked the charge in his blaster, and walked into the woods. Suddenly, Havering appeared in front of him. "Hello, Vector." Havering said with a slight smirk. "What do you want?" Vector said, contempt in his voice. "I know your scheme. You’re the root of all my problems." Havering bellowed a laugh. "You have no idea what problems you are yet to have, boy." Vector locked eyes with Havering, and set his blaster to full power. "Would you like to know where your parents are?" Havering said. Vector looked at him, and hesitated to reply. "Yes." Vector finally said. Havering conjured up an image of two yoshi skeletons lying in the streets of a bombed out city. "Would you like to join them?" Havering asked cheerfully. "You lie!" Vector yelled. He raised his blaster, and fired into Havering’s
head, causing it to explode in a mist of blood, charred flesh, and brain matter. "Fool. You think your puny toy can kill me?" Havering’s voice said behind him. Vector turned on his heel, only to be face to face with Havering once again. "You know nothing of my parents." Vector said, utter contempt showing in his voice. "You are mistaken." Havering said. "I know everything about your parents, and you. Return to your friends. Just remember, I am not done with you yet." With that, Havering just disappeared. Vector turned, and walked back to the Nexus, thinking all the way.
