Chapter LXIII: Unexpected Incident - Princess Aurora Yoshiva
Princess Aurora Yoshiva continued to walk on the strange place, all by herself. She had left the blue yoshi, Vector, a while back to continue to search for Markior or even Ulrezaj. Aurora would usually know where to go on many places, but this planet was new and different. She didn't have a clue where she was going, though she kept on. It was a beautiful day, however, and she appeared to be walking along a sparkling river.
"Argh… damn it all… No sign of them anywhere… Things just keep happening… Such an odd planet." She stopped by the river and looked at herself in the water. Her reflection came clear in the water, and she decided that it was safe. Splashing some water on her face, she knelt down and cupped her hands, scooping up some water and drinking it. Small droplets water had fell on her clothes, though she ignored it. The water tasted good and pure, for a place she described as a "nightmare".
--------------------------
"Hmm?! ..What's this?" Ulrezaj turned to see Aurora's image. "Ah,…" he grinned. "Now if it isn't Princess Aurora! Ha! How perfect.. Instead of me finding them, they're coming straight TO me!!" Ulrezaj broke his words with a quick evil laugh and then continued, "Her sword… She has it with her, and that's what I want! The Diamond Crystal Blade she has will soon be mine! One of the artifacts I need to awaken Whyr-roth-tin!" He laughed again and turned a little, thinking to himself. He remembered that the last time he had seen Aurora, he was nice, and good.
"Augh," he thought, "..I was kind. How disgusting.." He thought more, and thought of how much he enjoys mind controlling Princess Aurora Yoshiva. He had developed a keen plan now.
"Mwahaha! I'm BRILLIANT!"
--------------------------
There was a rustling in the bushes, which caught Aurora's attention. She stood up from the edge of the river slowly, unsheathing her sword as slowly as she got to her feet and stood tall. The rustling came again, but nothing had appeared. Aurora walked to the bush and slashed straight through it. The area she had cut it in glowed blue for a moment then fell in two pieces. She looked around the bush but there was nothing there.
"What…?" Aurora felt confused, and suddenly felt uncomfortable. She sensed something watching her, and found that it was behind her. Immediately she turned around, keeping her sword in hand as it swung around with her.
"Well hello there, Miss Aurora…"
Aurora looked at who it was. The red, energy flowing creature she had always hated for so long, the one who had taken over her mind many times, the one she last saw being kind and nice.
"Ulrezaj?" she stared at him. She felt sick. Everything kept happening at once, and all so sudden.
"Erhm.. Yes. Well, actually, only an image of myself. My apologies, Miss Aurora, did I frighten you? I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" He blinked at her with his bright, pupil-less eyes.
"No. Not at all…"
"What are you doing here all alone?"
"What am I doing here? You, Markior, and I were trapped inside some strange building with no exits, and suddenly I was teleported to nowhere!" Her voice was snappy as she retorted with such frustration. "Where's Markior? How did you escape?" Aurora sheathed her sword, though she still didn't trust Ulrezaj fully, she risked it.
Ulrezaj shrugged. "We were all teleported out, Aurora." Ulrezaj looked at the ground then looked back at Aurora.
"I don't know where Markior is, and I was teleported out to nowhere as well," he lied.
"Damn" Aurora said, actually believing him. There was a long moment of silence, and Aurora had the worried look in her eyes, which was rarely seen from her.
Ulrezaj decided to just get to what he was trying to do. He couldn't stand being too nice any longer.
"Hey Aurora, I was just wondering.."
"Hmm?"
"Have you ever heard of 'Whyr-roth-tin'?"
"No."
"He is a great demon that can be summoned by collected artifacts of certain people. Whoever summons him is granted with great power."
"..So you're telling me this because….?" Aurora began to grow suspicious, but Ulrezaj wasn't stupid enough to not know that she was.
Ulrezaj turned away from Aurora.
"You see, Aurora… That sword of yours is one of the treasures…"
"What?"
"The Diamond Crystal Blade, Aurora. It is one of the artifacts to summon Whyr-roth-tin!"
"Hm…" Aurora knew something was going on, but didn't know exactly.
Ulrezaj turned around and glared at Aurora.
"You fool! Don't you understand?! I want your sword! Give it to me!" he yelled at her.
Aurora glared back at Ulrezaj.
"I had a feeling you were getting to that.."
Before she could say anything more, Ulrezaj had attempted to grab her sword. Rays of light emitted from the sword and it glowed brightly. Usually it would knock back the one trying to touch it(unless it were Aurora), but since Ulrezaj was too powerful for the effect, nothing really happened. The thing was, Ulrezaj couldn't touch it. He tried again but still he couldn't touch it.
Aurora grinned, "You idiot, Ulrezaj.. I knew you couldn't be trusted, but still, the only one that can touch the Diamond C. Blade is me, and me alone."
Ulrezaj growled. He felt like blasting her but he thought before he did.
"Grah.. Now I see why Pseudo simply wants you captive rather than dead.."
Aurora smirked. "Keeping secrets from me, are you?" She shook her head with such courage to taunt the beast, Ulrezaj, and began to walk off. "Well I'll be going now. I have to find The Markior"
Ulrezaj shook with frustration. "Pseudo knows more than I do! He's always one step ahead of me! Hmm… Well I know what he had in mind, now! I can't kill Aurora because she has control of the sword. But if someone had control over the one who had control over the sword… YES! HAHA.." He looked back at Aurora, who was already far ahead of him.
"Not so fast, Princess!" He teleported in front of her.
"Go away, Ulrezaj." She vanished from that area, leaving blue rose petals where she once was which blew away in the wind. She reappeared farther ahead. She could still be seen.
Ulrezaj glared at the wise-ass lovely sorceress.
"Your tricks are cute.. but they're no match for mine…" He teleported in front of Aurora and quickly unleashed a beam straight at her. Aurora couldn't even make a cry of any sort as she was enveloped with the light. The light faded away, nothing had happened to her….. physically, anyway.
Ulrezaj had control of her mind now. Of her dark and lonely past, her mind was vulnerable all the time for mind control.
"Ah.. so now, my Princess, you work for me. And only me." he chuckled evilly.
"You may call me.. 'Lord Ulrezaj'."
Aurora bowed gracefully and in respect.
"I am at your every command, Lord Ulrezaj." She said with her sweet, feminine voice.
"You wanted to see Markior?" Ulrezaj wanted to have a little fun with his new puppet first. "Then go. And when you find him……
kill him."
