Chapter LXXIX: Brain Feed -Kyle

Kyle stood up from the chair where he had been sitting for the past 72 hours. He closed the final large, dusty book in the library. Beside him was a pile of the others he had already gone through. He rubbed his dried-out eyes with the back of his hand as he stumbled to the door of the Templar Archives. He shielded his eyes from the high, blinding sun as he made his way to the Nexus. He was amazed how much the city had grown in the past three days. He craned his neck to take in the sight of the three carriers now hovering over their expanding metropolis. There was now a wall of Photon Cannons being constructed to protect their buildings, along with groups of Observers to scout for them. They now had four full units of Zealots, two of Dragoons, and one of Scouts. Kyle grinned, knowing that the battle to come would be huge and difficult, but that the outcome would be favorable. He entered the Nexus and up to his Gravi-Bed. He hadn't slept for over three days, constantly absorbing information. Yet the three days of brain feeding had done him well. He already felt more powerful, more able to use his powers. But he needed sleep first, before he could attempt to use his new powers. He laid down on his Gravi-Bed and closed his eyes, falling directly to sleep.
