Chapter LXXX -Vector

Vector looked at his blaster, and watched the charge indicator turn green. He jumped up, and yelled something incomprehensible in an alien language, and fired the proton beam at the table where the auctioneer sat, reducing it to molecular paste. The crowd scattered, yelling a jumbled mix of words. Vector switched his blaster for auto fire, and commenced to level the building in which he stood. No one approached him, in fear of being blasted to atoms. Vector didn’t even realize the muzzle of his blaster becoming red hot. The last thing Vector saw was his blaster exploding in a dazzling white fireball before the world went dark. Vector was awakened by a kick in the side. He woke up, and heard someone yelling at him. He started to get up, and someone grabbed him, and dragged him forcefully to his feet. He was taken outside and noticed that it was either early morning, or late evening. He was pulled to a table, and someone sitting behind it looked at him. The one behind the table said something Vector couldn’t understand. He then pointed at Vector, and said "Lex". "No, I’m Vector." Vector said. A pole hitting him in the midsection, knocking the air out of him, greeted his words. "Okay! So I’m Lex Sprint!" Vector managed. He was dragged out of the room, and taken outside. Vector was forcefully pushed along until they reached a large tent. He was pushed into a back area, while he could hear someone talking rapidly. Then, he was pulled out from behind a curtain, and he could see that he was at an auction, and he was the merchandise. After several people called out their bids, one walked up, and talked to the auctioneer. Then, Vector was forcefully dragged to a back room, where Vector looked for a way out. Shortly after arriving in the room, Vector yelled, and could have sworn he had been shot with a blaster. He looked at his right arm, and noticed that he had been hit with a branding iron. Then, a man walked in. "I am Theutes. I would presume you know that you are now my property." Vector grumbled something, and followed Theutes.
