Chapter LXXXI: Decisions -Chanlin and Rynn

Rynn turned to look at Chanlin, who in turn, was looking at Rynn. "Do you think this is Chogran's doing?" She was refering to Chanlin's brother, an evil Nightwing who Chanlin had killed and sent into the Demon Realm, but yet, still managed to find ways to attack them. He hated Chanlin with a passion. Rynn never found out the entire story, except for the fact Chogran was once head of the Assembly of Seven that ordered Chanlin's village destroyed and his family murdered. Chanlin himself survived by aid of his foster brother, and attacked the Assembly for what they had done, only to be captured and nearly put to death. But a friend of his, Crystina, or Crys for short, rescued him, only to be killed herself. Chanlin had never fully gotten over her death, but his love for Rynn was strong.

Chanlin shook his head. "I don't sense him close by at all. But it could be. " He looked around at the valley, then turned back to look at the city of Silverstar. "But I don't understand how he could have transported a whole city somewhere else. Or even his reason why."

Ruth flew up to Rynn, Mara on her back. Excuse me, but I don't think we're on Kil' Aloch anymore. Rynn's mouth dropped open in shock, and Chanlin flew over to the small white dragon. "What do you mean?"

I can not sense any of the Dragons that normally inhabit our world.

Rynn turned to her husband. "I think Ruth is right, Ka. Perhaps we should explore more. See if any others have been displaced as well. And perhaps we can find a way to return home."

Chanlin nodded. "Good idea. Normally I would ask Mara and Ruth to go home on an occasion, but we can't be sure anywhere on this world is safe."
Rynn began to protest, "But Ka, what if....."

Chanlin cut her off, "My love, we can't be absolutely sure anything will be where it is supposed to be. And even if it was, we are not sure of anything else that may have changed, until then the safest place for Mara is with us."

Rynn nodded, and took Chanlin's hand. "I only hope we don't run into Chogran here."

"As do I, Ka, as do I."
