Chapter CXVII: He Fell From Above ~Ria

Adrian approached the village cautiously. Gelid stayed close by her side. She knew there were creatures of some kind in the village, but she wouldn't know what they were like until she met them. As she walked onto the main street, she was shocked to see a plethora of species, all going about normal activities. No one seemed to give Adrian or Gelid any extra attention, except a nod here or there.
"Seems like a peaceful enough place." Gelid said.
"Well, there's nothing dangerous." Adrian said. "Looks kind of interesting though."
Suddenly the air above them seemed to open and dumped a figure onto the street in front of them. "Woah, what a rush."
Adrian moved back as the figure got to his feet, dusting off some pretty fancy looking armor. Then he turned around. "Well, at least I didn't land on anyone. So who are you and where exactly am I?"
"Zolott." Adrian said. "I take it you're from off planet?"
"Yeah. I was on Earth, then some guy pulled me away from there, gave me these nifty cloths, and sent me here. I think it's detailed on page 45 of this book, but I could only read so much in the black tunnel, and I lost my place when I landed," He flipped through some kind of stack of papers. "Now do you know anything about this evil being I'm supposed to stop?"
Adrian glanced at Gelid, then back at the human. "Um, you're going to stop an evil being?"
"Yeah. I've even got the sword for it." He reached back and grabbed the sword strapped to his back, but seemed to be having trouble pulling it off. "Oh well, I'll figure it out later."
"Now what was it you said about an evil being? Is he here on Zolott?" Adrian asked. Finally, there seemed to be someone who might be able to tell her what was going on, on Zolott, even if he was human.
"It's in these papers somewhere." The guy said. "Probably past page 45."
