Chapter CXIX: Resentful Anger ~Markior

Flying a mile above ground, the Ganthritor silently hovered its way back to base. And like before, Markior was in the eternal grey room, meditating, setting priorities. He vowed he'd never let himself get enraged again, like what happened back in Tullabanargia. Destroying an entire city was ungrounded, unacceptable. Even if they were slave traders, he would never forgive himself. He remembered the days in which he was a demon travelling throughout the multiverse, destroying every planet he encountered. He sighed and went over the things happened... Havering was proceeding as he had planned, and soon, whatever he would want would lay in his grasp. Lord Ulrezaj didn't seem to work with him, but still he had something Havering would need. The choice was unable to be made... either way, something had to be done. And fast. He decided to go over the Psionic emanations of the fleet. Dev was here, getting fed... by Dragon. She was here to... He searched more. The Koopa was there, walking... through the hallways. Prism was also around.... sitting in the dining quarters. The scout pilots... the zealots... dragoons... Templar... Yes, everyone was present. Sensing a bit further, Vector seemed to have travelled many miles by now.

A sudden chill passed through his spiritual form, an uneasy feeling began nagging at him. Something was terribly wrong. It was like something that was solid and unbreakable suddenly had phased into something else, and the feeling was downright frightening. He opened his eyes wide as he could sense it. The Aurorium was here... on Zolott. He stood up, touching his forehead in mental agony. "Impossible..." He murmured, reaching out for the vastness of the gods and goddesses presence. What he sensed was utter chaos. He could almost feel the warmth of explosions around him, and the smell of laser fire cutting through the air. There was a fight going on... a big fight. He couldn’t sense who the ones were fighting were, but he could sense one emanation clearly, that of Lich... but something different was about him. He couldn't put his finger on it, but the entire gathering of what he sensed there, couldn’t be more wrong.

His eyes opened with white flames of fury emitting from the corners of his black spiritual eyelids. He clenched his fists together, grey energies splitting from between his fingers. He rumbled silently, with a second undertone in his voice. "Blasphemy...." He turned around swiftly and turned into his non-solid shape, floating straight through the walls of his flagship, a constant rumble of anger distorting the air around him. As he arrived in the control chamber within the Ganthritor's hull, he returned to his solidified shape. He turned around on the platform as his grey energies surged out of him, touching the inner walls of the carrier. He put it on autopilot back to the base.... "They'll never know I'll be missing.... One of them will surely take Dev along..." He roared to himself, his last threads of reason slipping away from his grasp. He cocked his head and extended a hand, a black portal appearing in front of him. "I'm taking matters into my own hands now... I refuse to be the timebender's puppet in his play any longer...." With that, he let out another roar and dashed into the black portal, teleporting away from the fleet many, many miles.

With another roar he appeared several miles away from the Aurorium, and clenched his fists again, arching his back. Light emitting from his eyes and hands, he let himself grow to Archon Form, his black energies being replaced by white, with three electron-shaped grey energy bolts circling around him. He fed of his Archon fury, as those of Eternal Grey slowly replaced his white energies. "True Xel'Naga Form..." He whispered, suppressing his roaring. His form began growing, the grey energies around him crushing trees. As he morphed, the light of the planet turned dim, the life-energy draining slightly. He grew bigger, towering above the trees in unrivalled anger. He was breaking his vow to himself, but the thought didn’t even enter his mind. Two grey Warp-blades appeared around his wrists, the energies emitting from them turning into a slight sickle-shape. His cape grew with his body, hovering around his now non-existent neck. He saw the Aurorium, and immediately floated over, crushing trees in his path. "Havering!! You blasphemous FOOL!!" His eyes burned white fire in anger, as he came to a stop in front of the Aurorium, yet... he sensed he was too late. The harm was already done.

What he saw was utter destruction and chaos. Walls and tiles were torn, pillars were shredded, and valuables were missing. He peeked inside one of the windows, laying his burning hand on the roof. The very moment, he turned his head to see Multex and another flying away. He then looked down to see numerous Yoshies yelling and screaming at his robotic friend. He turned again to see Multex, but he was faster then expected. He was gone again. "He’s here! The Markior is here!" and "The guardian has arrived!" were some of the yells heard, among other cries of anger in the direction of the now disappeared Multex. Markior lowered himself. "Everyone, calm down!" He rumbles in anger, trying to get his focuss back. "What happened here?" The group fell silent under the display of raw power talking. One stepped forward. "That robot and his friends destroyed the Aurorium!" She yelled, pointing in the direction where Multex flew of to. Markior widened his eyes, and the group began yelling again, in agreement to the previous statement. "SILENCE!!" Markior rumbles, the group again becoming silent to a mere murmuring. "Who told you that?" He roared. The group looked around. "There was a person... named holograntis." They talked through each other. Markior frowned. "You have been tricked. Multex is a friend of mine, and he would never destroy the Aurorium. Please, go back inside and start rebuilding. I have work to do." His voice echoed through the air, as he got up again, his hand still on the roof of the holy building. The Yoshies went back inside, nervously talking.

Markior clenched his fists and rumbled… "You have gone too far this time, Havering…" He started yelling into nothingness. "EVEN IF I HAVE TO DESTROY THIS ENTIRE PLANET FOR IT, I WILL STOP YOU!!" He scanned for any dimensional distortions, figuring Havering and his group might’ve teleported away from the scene. He found a trail of distortions, leading to the far north. "Gotcha.." He rumbled, and with blinding speed, he started floating half a mile above ground, following the trail Havering left behind. Not knowing he would fall into a clever trap or find Havering to stop him, he continued, his eyes burning with fury.

Meanwhile….

Lord Ulrezaj smirked silently. "Soon Dragon will fall to my mind-torture, Aurora..." He grinned, as Aurora listened. "What are you planning, master?" Ulrezaj waved a claw infront of a screen, displaying Dragon. "I am using a special technique… The same some of the humans on First Earth used. Whenever Dragon goes to sleep, I wait until she goes into the REM-sleep. The very moment she enters that state, I wake her up with an ear splitting sound in her mind… After one or two days, she’ll go crazy, morph, and destroy all that is around her…" He grinned again, looking at the screen. Due to lack of sleep, Dragon began to look tired already. "And soon, I’ll be able to have you two look for the other items on this world. If everything goes correctly, Havering and I will have an equal amount of needed artifacts. And then…" He waved a claw infront of the screen, displaying Havering. He pointed his claw in a pistol-like fashion. "And then… *poof* Goodbye, mister timebender…"
