Chapter CLIX: Appearance of Another ~ Optimus

A shower of sparks flew from the swords hitting each other, the sparks landing onto a metallic surface. Optimus, known as Opty by his friends, was training with a close friend, Raven. The pair parried each other blow-for-blow, the intensity of the moment keeping them from becoming tired. Sweat beads fell from their faces every time they stood still long enough for the gravity of the planet known as Alyria. Suddenly the doorbell rang, causing the owner of the small home, Opty, to startle and get knocked down by Raven.

"Dangit, no fair! That doorbell made me lose concentration!" Opty shouted.

"Tough luck, expect the unexpected, simple as that." Raven said back calmly, moving away and offering a hand for Opty. Opty pushed it away and got up by himself.

"I'm going to go get the door, be right back," Opty said and headed out of the room.

"Remember, expect the unexpected!" Raven shouted after.

Opty grabbed a towel and wiped away the sweat caused by his training. He tossed it down, sheathed his sword and then opened the door. His face went pale at the sight on the other side.

"Surprised?!" A figure that looked exactly like Opty, only his hair was a little wilder than Opty's afroesque, curly locks.

"Y-y-you?" Opty stuttered, surprised to see the one person he thought he had utterly destroyed. His relative clone, his evil self; he was facing the one, true, Evil Opty, EO for short. Opty took a step back, still staring and stuttering.

"Yes, me. I am back, and I'm here to do my reviver's bidding. He said to take you to this world named Zolott, so that's where I'm taking you."

"What? Get away from me, you freak!" Opty shouted, hoping Raven would hear. EO pulled out a small orb, slightly smaller than a tennis ball, which absorbed all light from around it. Opty recognized the horrible orb as being the Dark Orb, EO's once source of power. Wisps of black energy flowed off of the orb and around Opty slowly, and before he knew what was going on, he was bound in pure darkness. The cold of space flowed around Opty, making him pass out.

"Ugh...s-s-so cold..." Opty stuttered, waking up. He turned his head and was surprised to be surrounded by white, instead of black. Evil Opty had indeed followed through with his master's wishes, easily manipulated by someone like Havering.

Opty rolled over in the deep snow, rolling up to a sitting position and quickly frisking himself. He discovered that he must have been dropped from higher up, because his bones ached horribly. He thanked the snow for breaking his fall and apparently hiding him from EO, because he still had his sword and magic orbs. He pulled out his fire orb and focused on the snow. Since he was weak and cold already, it took a while to actually have an effect and start to melt the snow. Soon, 30 minutes later in the extreme cold, suffering the extreme agony of fear, Opty created a small fire to keep himself warm. He was all alone on top of the snowy mountain on Zolott, which he had been dropped upon.
