Chapter CLXVIII: Struggling Towards the Top ~Prism

Prism sighed her trademark sigh and fiddled with her crystal necklace.

She had been in the Protoss base for the majority of her time here. Other times she had been posted in the GanthritorII. However, because of her lack of contact with the stars she felt weak, and unable to do much of anything.

I cannot use my powers, she thought. At least not yet. Surely, if I keep meditating day to day, I will be able to gain more and more power. But what if it isn't enough? Will I be able to help defeat Havering? The rainbow yoshi sighed and folded her hands in meditation.

"MichinoHoshi...Star Road...hear my pleas. Give me strength so that I can help defeat this fiend." She clamped her hands even more tightly together. "Help me access the Divine Crystal..." After making her pleas for more power, she successfully cast Focus, which increased her power a bit.

(We interrupt this program to bring you a special bulletin.)
As you know, Prism is from the Star Road and has the stars' power. However, there is also a Divine Crystal which holds incredible power and transforms Prism into a more powerful being, Prismaya Divinity. This divine crystal is made up of crystals from all the elements: ice, fire, wind, ocean, lightning, and earth, plus Prism's Crystal of Light. In my Comic Quest for the Crystals, Prism retrieves each of the elemental crystals in order to face an evil with the Crystal of Darkness. So that explains that...I think. As for Focus, you should know what it is if you've played Paper Mario :P But just to let you know, it's a spell which increases your StarPower.
(We now return you to your scheduled programming, already in progress.)

Somewhat rejuvenated, Prism walked out of 'her little corner' and into the main room. The Markior glanced behind his shoulder, somewhat surprised.

"Prism?" he blinked. The Hoshian princess simply nodded. "Feeling better, I take it?"

"Yes," Prism replied softly. "With meditation, my power seems to be increasing."

"Excellent," Markior nodded. "You've certainly been evasive and quiet lately."

"I've just been weak, that's all." The more colorful yoshi shrugged, ruffling the feathers of her wings somewhat. "I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I feel no sense of direction. I don't know where to go, I don't know what to do...for some reason my power has been almost completely cut off and I miss everyone back home."

She sighed, which preceded a long, awkward silence...
