Adrian landed on the ground beside Gelid and changed back to her auran form.
"So what now?" Gelid asked.
"I say we go sailing." Optional said, and turned into a huge sailboat.
Adrian rubbed her head, her thoughts swirling around as Gelid mentioned to Optional that there wasn't any water around.
**So what do I know? There are vulth'n trying to destroy my planet, one trying to save it, only he was just kidnapped, and there's a half a dozen lizards running around. I can't deal with all this.**
She found herself, for a moment, wishing she could be as carefree as Optional, who had now changed back into his ghost form for the moment.
**I wish I'd never left home. I wish I didn't know about any of this.** But Adrian knew it was to late, she was involved, whether she likes it or not. With a sigh, she turned and trudged over the snow. Gelid followed her a second later.
