Chapter CLXXXVIII: Thinking Is Dangerous ~Vector

Tripper sat quietly on a piece of limestone, dismantling his blaster. He preferred to stay out of other’s matters. It helped keep him alive. This matter with this ‘Lich’ and his brother was, as usual, avoided. Vector was talking with him, evidently knowing something about the matter.
"So Ark’s alive, after all these years, eh Lich?" Vector asked.
"Yes…" Lich said quietly.
"So how about I go find him. I could cover the entire planet an about 2 days.
"Vector, I don’t think…" Lich stopped in mid sentence; Vector was already gone.
"He has a habit of doin that." Tripper said.
"So I noticed." Lich said quietly.

"Now lets see here…" Vector said aloud. "If my name were Ark, and Lich was my brother, where would I go? Beats me. My name’s not Ark." Vector took off running from where he and Tripper found Lich. His legs took on the shape of a large, sideways figure-eight. "Hehe.. Footprints!" Vector said. He noticed a set of footprints on the ground, and followed them. After a matter of minutes, he came to a river. He looked around, and tried to find where the footprints led. He saw a set on the opposite bank of the river. As he followed them, he could see something in the distance. It was the Protoss city. Vector thought for a moment, a practice he often considered dangerous, turned, and disappeared to whence he came.

"So then I turned tail and floored it through the asteroids." Tripper said. Lich sighed. Tripper had been droning on about his days as a smuggler for half an hour. He jerked his head up and looked hopefully at the door when he heard a familiar sonic boom and the sound of rubber screeching on a smooth surface.
"Hey Lich!" Vector yelled. "I know where Ark is!" Vector walked through the entrance to the Aurorium. Lich sprang to his feet, grabbed Vector by his shirt, and commenced to go crazy.
"Where is he?" Lich said hurriedly. "Tell me now!"
"Heeyy!" Vector said. "Take it easy on the threads! This is the only shirt I have. Ark’s at the Protoss base. I could give you a lift." Lich looked at Vector doubtfully.
"I think I’ll go myself." Lich said. "I don’t feel like getting speed sick."
