Chapter CCI: Never Piss Off a Hoshi... ~Prism

Prism groaned and pulled herself and Opty out of the pile of bones, moments before the invincibility wore off. "AAAAAAAAAARGH!" She screamed, blasting the remaining bones with her StarPower.

"Uhhhh..." Opty started. "You okay?"

"I'm sick of these drawbacks," Prism growled, clenching her fist. "There will be no more sacrifices! The infects will die...and the infects will die NOW!" Her head snapped in the direction in which the robot had run. "Starting with THAT ONE." Her body began to glow, and she transformed into a star once again, shooting after Necronimus.

It didn't take long for her to catch up with him. Once she had come close enough, she changed back into a yoshi, formed the Crystalo staff, and struck him with it, stopping him in his tracks.

"That wasn't very nice, Missy." Necro growled, turning to face the Hoshian princess. Prism's eyes narrowed.

"Burying me and my friend in bones wasn't exactly Mother Tereshi material either, Infect." She replied, taking a defensive stance.

"Mother who?" Necronimus asked. Prism rolled her eyes.

"Forget it." she retorted. "You couldn't possibly understand the concept of doing good for others. But that wasn't why I followed you here, was it?" She smirked, whispering the words "Super Star." Like before, a star of invincibility came down from her cloud, and she and her staff began to flash brightly.

Prism darted towards Necro, and he, being a robot, darted away just as quickly. This began a rather unusual chase as Prism attempted to reach the infect again and again. Necro continued the nonsense until the star's power wore off, then tackled the Hoshian princess unexpectedly, pinning her to the ground underneath him.

"Sorry, Miss," Necro chuckled. "But I'm afraid you've lost again." He began to laugh at the princess's fate, when suddenly a sword stabbed through his chest. Prism gasped and looked up to see that Opty was holding the sword. Necro fell onto his side, seizuring a little from the pain.

"Are you alright?" Opty asked, helping the yoshi up.

"I'm fine," Prism replied. "Thank you for saving me..."

Necro began to stand up, the sword still puncturing his robotic body. "You think you can get ridda me that easily?" He laughed. Opty looked at Prism.

"Looks like it's up to you," he replied. Prism nodded, opening her palm. A tiny glowing star appeared floating above her hand. She grabbed it and threw it towards the Infect. The star landed on the ground underneath Necro's feet, disappearing into the ground.

Necro laughed, "Is that IT?" He asked. Prism clenched her fist, and on the ground a circle of light began to form around Necro's feet.

Moving her fist upward furiously, Prism yelled "StarBeam ENGULF!" Upon her saying this, a huge beam of light shot up from the circle on the ground, surrounding Necronimus. From the sky, several stars rained down upon the Infect.

"AAAAAGH!" Necronimus cried out in pain. Before that attack was even over, Prism was charging up another, forming an orb of light in her hands. When the beam of light had finally disappeared, Necro fell to his knees, exhausted and silenced with pain. But apparently this wasn't enough for the yoshi.

"STAR ORB!" She screamed, throwing the sphere directly at the infect's stomach. The orb broke and exploded, wrenching Necro's leg from his body. The infect fell to the ground, not moving. If he wasn't dead...then he was very near it.

"I uh...think you can stop now." Opty interrupted, obviously worried about his sword. Prism glared at him, rage apparent in her sapphire eyes.

"I'm not stopping until his body is dust!" she retorted, holding out her hand. "I call upon the power of Ares! Crystal of Fire, I summon thee!" In a flash of flaming red light, a red crystal appeared floating above Prism's hand. "Power of Fire!" She yelled out, and suddenly the remains of Necronimus' body burst into flames. The sword, however, was unaffected by the fire. "With his body totally obliterated, there is no way he can be rebuilt..." Prism sighed exhaustedly.

When Necro was finally nothing more than a pile of ash, the flames disappeared, having served their purpose. While Opty retrieved his sword, Prism tossed the crystal into the air, and it disappeared, having gone to its rightful place. "Let's go." The yoshi said sternly, grabbing the human's hand as the two turned into stars, flying into the sky to find their next victim.
