Chapter CCXXVIII: A Wizard, a Werewolf and a Weird Guy ~Redaz

Redaz had given up trying to burn down the forest to give chase to a squirrel he had decided had stared at him too long; he then gave that up to wonder when he'd gone completely over the edge, but had stopped that to once again search out the end of the forest. At some point Redaz had passed out and woken up to find himself surrounded by burnt down trees with a desert in sight through them, he promptly got up and turned around liking his chances in the forest better.

Redaz was currently hacking through low hanging branches with his sword, which he had been doing for a long while. Suddenly he heard something that wasn't a forest noise (he'd tuned them out) and headed toward it. After a few moments he happened upon two humans, one about his age with two bracelets going from his wrists to his elbows and one a few years older, wearing a maroon colored armor with a red shirt underneath, black shoes and had hair that looked like it was either made of fire or on fire. When Redaz was close enough to hear them, the red clad one said, "So, do you have Popeye's where you come from?" and was answered with, "No."

Redaz immediately realized that he was face to face with other people and shouted in excitement. The two humans were rather taken by surprise by the loud noise and they both jumped, the red clad human's head darted back and forth to see what had made the noise and the other did the same only after falling into a fighting stance. "Thank the gods, I’ve finally found people!" Redaz shouted again and the two humans relaxed a bit. "Do you two have a town, village, city, anything near here?" Redaz asked, eager to find civilization.

The slightly younger looking human with the bracelets replied, "No, we don't live here, and who are you?"

Redaz grinned. "I, my friend," he began and started to bow, "am a mage, spellcaster, sorcerer, summoner, enchanter and wizard extrordinare," Redaz finished his bow at the same time as his introduction then suddenly shot bolt upright, "but you can call me Redaz; Who might you be?"

"Well...Redaz, my name is Sheko-"

"And I'm Kyanosa," the red clad human spoke up.

"Ok, if you two don't live here, what are you doing here?" Redaz inquired.

"We're gonna stop an evil British guy named Havering from conquering the universe!" Kyanosa said with a grin.

"Ok...sure," Redaz said, "Where is this 'British guy'?"

"We don't know," Sheko said, "and were stuck in this forest."

"So we're both in the same boat," Redaz said very let down.

"Hey!" Kyanosa exclaimed happily, "lets go to the northern lights."

"What?" the other two turned to him, and saw he was looking up through the trees and pointing, they followed his arm and gaze to see changing lights in the sky. "Sure, why not." Redaz shrugged.

Kyanosa and Redaz started off, Sheko following closely.

The tree wandered through the forest for a while, Kyanosa asking Redaz questions like where he came from, whether it was during the "mid-eval" times, what exactly he could do as far as magic and if he'd seen any marbles recently when they suddenly made it to a clearing filled with corpses and scrap metal, at one end, was a crater, above which floated a huge flying craft and off in the distance was a large black shape that resembled a circle of floating towers. The three stared for a bit until Kyanosa spoke, "So...what now?"

"We should probably head toward whatever that is," Sheko pointed to the thing above the crater, "since those lights are gone," which indeed they were by now. The three started toward the large thing by the larger crater, in hopes of finding something.
