Chapter CCXXXIII: Et Tu, Brute? ~Multex

Pseudo glared as he looked up. "I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS!!" "Oh, but you shall.." a voice spoke up. Havering looked over to see the cloaked stranger. His eyes widened. "YOU!! You have the nerve to hunt me down at my greatest hour?!" The figure nodded, and a swirling vortex opened behind him, the form of Pseudo stepping out. Immediately, the other Havering dropped to one knee. "Prime! I await thine commands. The real Pseudo growled, flipping through the air, merging with the copy as he landed. "Bastard! I thought I left you and Jessica years ago! How can you hold this much POWER?!"
The figure took off his hood, his skin green, hair spiked and green, an odd armored helmet on his head. "Don't underestimate your own flesh and blood, father. It took a lot of quick thinking to survive the nuking of that worthless city! Now, I can kill you in a fight, showing you once and for all you are NOT the best!" With that, the two Twilighters leapt, locking hands. Both strained, the son gaining the upper hand at last. He sneered. "Father, while you always did have the glass jaw, physical ability is my forte!"
Havering growled and flung his son away, firing a tremendous black blast. The son laughed as it struck something invisible and vanished. "Nice try, but as you see, I have it too!" Havering cursed, and his son rebounded off the wall behind him, unleashing a devastating scissor kick. It smacked Havering's barrier, causing it to pulse, then reaffirm itself. The son landed, then snickered. "Such is pointless, we'll never scratch each other like this! However, I know your weakness!" Pseudo's eyes widened as his son began to chant.

As the Spire fell, Vector hovered in the air. Until two blurs, one green, one red, sent him head over heels. Vaurix and Pyrak stopped a distance away. They jetted back, pounding Vector hard with their fists. As the Yoshi reeled, Vaurix blasted him with a grey laser. It seemed to last for ages, then Vec turned blue once more and fell to a walkway below. Both laughed, posing. "NEVER mess with the infects! We have more tricks up our sleeves than you know of!" Suddenly, their intercoms beeped. Pyrak looked over at Vaurix. "Well, we need to get to our places. The boss is signaling. I'll take the fallen one, since I love fire." Vaurix nodded, and the two were off.

Malus and Spiite appeared behind the group, sneering behind their masks. They took the duo completely off guard, circling around Multex. With sudden ferocity, Malus punched him back into Spiite. Spiite kicked his body back to Malus, who punched again. Spiite kicked again, sending the Agent sprawling. The group assumed fighting stances. Multex groaned as he propped himself up. "Malus...Spiite...you sons of bitches haven't changed a bit since three years ago.." The lankier, blue robed sorcerer smirked. "Why should we? We're so great like we are!" The pudgier, red robed sorcerer turned to 6400 "Aww, what's sa mattah? Feelin a wittle weary? Pfeheh!"
The two reassumed stances along side each other. Both looked at each other. "Duo spell?" Malus asked. Spiite nodded. "Let's." And with that, the two chanted, then throwing out their hands. A powerful gust of wind shot forth, bowling everyone over. Multex fell over backwards, 6400 crashing to the side. Nessie and Dragon were pushed off the edge, but could fly, so they made it out. Lich and Ark were shoved off, but Multex caught one of each's legs as he fell. Tob ducked into his shell, skidding, but catching hold on a panel of metal. Spiite and Malus looked up as they seemed to be getting some psychic message. They turned to each other, nodded, then vanished. Multex still held the two, but couldn't rise, or they would fall. "Knowing this place, there's probably some security lock. And, being in tune with Havering's wavelength, he probably split up the way in. So I say we assemble everyone here, then split into groups, and find the lackies he spread through the spires. Now I know that Malus and Spiite will probably be together, and since I owe em for this, I'll beat the crap outta em with a few others. They seem to pack more of a punch than they did on Parallel Earth."
The group nodded, those who could sitting up, and catching their breaths. The blasts continued to fire at the carrier, not directed at the planet's surface, but it. Multex mentally cursed as the sixth shot ripped off the tail end of the ship. He then glanced around for D'Nel and Ray. From what he could see, they were nowhere to be seen.
