Chapter CCXXXVI: The Fall ~Markior/Multex
Markior looked up at the sky through a window of the Ganthritor II... Black clouds were forming above the battlefield, circling around each other where the two massive battleships were fighting each other with all their power. Markior quickly turned. "Redirect the weapon systems' power! Amplify the EMP device and recharge the shields with it!" One of the Zealots looked up at Markior. "But that'd mean we would have to rely on the Interceptors only!" Markior quickly turned, his Xel'Naga cape fluttering as his eyes lit up brightly. "DO IT!!" The Zealot turned and moved his fingers before him on the translucent screen. The weapon systems powered down, the continuous stream of plasma bolts stopping. The blue energy surrounding the carrier flared up. "It worked, Executor! Shields back to 45 percent!" Markior turned back to face the screen of the Genesis. "That's not enough! If he fires the main weapon again, we'll be done for!" The smaller weapons of the Genesis fired at the Ganthritor II, slowly diminishing its shield. The Interceptors once again swarmed Havering's ship, firing at its dark plating. The Genesis automatically started to fire larger bolts of dark-green plasma. Markior moved his hands back and forth, dodging the blows even though the steering part of the Ganthritor was heavily damaged. He knew that if nothing would happen, this'd be a lost cause. "Raznaaagh..."

It began to rain, fierce lightening bolts striking down from the heavens as the water poured from the skies. Thunder rumbled through the heavens. The group within the Genesis ducked as an explosion, caused by the Ganthritor's attack, filled the docking bay they were in with smoke. "We gotta think of something quickly!" Prism yelled. "Markior can't stop attacking, if he does, it'll be his own death!" Lich said, looking at Multex. Multex looked through the hallways towards one of the many doors. He drew his Quicksilver and aimed it to his side, hitting a panel on the wall, opening the door. "C'mon, let's move, move, move!" The group ran towards the now opened door.
In the main control room, Pseudo grinned at his son. "You should know by now that your 'old man' always has a safeguard or two, son." He snapped his fingers. Havering's son never finished his chant as the door behind him was blasted open. Scorn, appearing from the blast, ripped through the metal and slammed his fist into Mayhem's back, sending him flying, then stumbling forwards. "Someone said something about physical ability being his forte?" Scorn chuckled, facing Havering's son. Mayhem looked at the infect, then towards his father. He backflipped and returned to his offensive pose, narrowing his eyes. The battle continued.

Another explosion surrounded the group running through the hallways of the Genesis. With a transmission beep, Multex halted the group in their tracks, looking at his arm. Markior appeared on a small screen. "Didn't expect this, hm? Observer technology is so useful." Markior said, a small light-blue explosion behind him. Multex looked at the screen, Artemis and 6400 looking over his shoulder. "What is it, Markior?" Multex yelled, his voice just barely piercing through the surrounding sounds of the ship under siege. Markior clenched his fist. "Multex, you need to stop the Genesis from the inside!" The screen became static, Markior's distorted image becoming even more vague. "Do anythi.... ..ossible to stop t... ship!" The image was replaced by total static. Lich and Ark looked around. "Defense droids! Watch out!" They yelled. Lich summoned the powers of Salamando, fire bolts surging from his body into the droids. Artemis quickly turned and extended her hand forwards, blowing the droids away with a fierce wind which nearly knocked the others of the group from their feet. The droids bounced between the walls until they exploded. Artemis looked in awe at her hand, but quickly regained stature. Opty looked to the other side. "The main tower's a bit further away!"

Pseudo caught his breath, kneeling on one side of the chamber. Mayhem was equally tired, breathing heavily. "You...fight...quite well...father." his son breathed, standing up. "Well, for now, I shall depart, going off to train. I will make this fight much easier to win." he panted, vanishing in a burst of black fire. Scorn, who hadn't interfered during the last round of the fight between Havering and Mayhem, turned and looked at Havering for his next order.
Pseudo breathed heavily, then walked to his chair, collapsing into it. Putting up a display screen, he growled at the Ganthritor's constant dodging of his shots. He snarled in frustration, slamming a fist down on a chair arm. The Genesis fired, blowing off a side panel completely. The Protoss battleship steered to the left as the side panel was blown off, but readjusted its balance. Light-blue sparks and arcs of electricity surrounded the backside of the ship. Havering readied another shot of the main weapon, the upside-down triangle of the ship powering up with a purple orb. "You can't escape this, Protoss!!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"CHRIST!" Multex shouted, the ship's weapon charging beyond the normal limits. "The crazy putz is gonna nuke the damn planet!" Before anyone could protest, the Agent charged into the main tower of the Genesis. He didn't stop at the spiraling staircase, but slid down the banister with his boots. The engine room whirred noticeably. But the Agent didn't care; he ran onward, to the central component. Spotting the Harvesters stacked on one another, powering the ship, and he looked around quickly. Grabbing a wrench from a toolkit nearby, he thrust it in the gap between the top Harvester and the power receptor. The result was instantaneous. The power in the lighting systems shut off, and the craft lurched noticeably.
Multex could hardly move as the voltage entered his body. Indeed, at the moment, the Sky Dome could be lit off him alone. He stuttered a profanity, and finally, the top Harvester blew, ending the power transmission. Multex slumped to the floor, a few stray sparks of electricity jumping from him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Shields are down again!" A High Templar yelled. Markior moved his hands quickly, readjusting the balance of the Ganthritor as he watched in horror how the Genesis was about to fire the main weapon. Light-blue sparks were flying inside and outside of the ship. One of the screens exploded, a Zealot falling backwards, shielding his eyes. Kerrigan hissed at the Markior. "Come ON Markior! Blast that damned battleship!" Aurora didn't yell, instead running from one screen to the other to help the Protoss. She could read the Protoss language easily. Markior turned. "I'm doing the best I can! I'm feeling every hit we take, by Adun!!" He turned again and looked at the screen. His eyes widened as the Genesis lurched, the main weapon's purple orb slowly growing smaller again. "Multex did it!" The screen displayed a massive energy surge as the Harvesters blew up. Markior laughed, pointing forwards. "Their power is down! Hit it with everything we got!" The Interceptors swarmed their target, firing like crazy as the Markior re-amplified the EMP device to fire plasma-bolts again. Havering engaged the emergy power system to stay airborne, but the Interceptors quickly took out the levitation device of the Genesis. Havering's massive battleship slowly began to fall.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Genesis was going down, and Havering knew it. In a last ditch effort to take down the opponent, he changed the orb blaster to one that fired lasers. Using the power it amassed, it fired. A purple beam engulfed the Ganthritor. The vessel shook violently, having its exterior panels pulled up, then it's entire outer lair ripped off, revealing transparent blue metal. With an echoing crash, the Genesis fell...
Markior clenched his eyes shut as the Ganthritor was engulfed with the purple shredding laser beam. "Shields at 0 percent! Armor at 21 percent!" The yellow metal was almost fully ripped off of the Ganthritor. As the Genesis fell down, the planet shook violently in an earthquake, dust flying up into the raining skies which blocked out the light. In just a few moments, Zolott's appearance was changed into a threatening-looking death-world. Markior turned towards Aurora and Kerrigan. "I can't keep the Ganthritor airborne for any longer. I'm taking her down!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deep below the surface of Zolott, the wreckage of the Genesis had been placed in the white sand... It had crash-landed straight into the Underworld of Zolott, the crystals surrounding the massive wreck. Inside, the group opened their eyes after the crash landing, now standing in the passageway on what was first the wall, but now made out the floor. Prism rubbed the side of her head. "Is everyone okay?" The group scrambled up. "Where's Multex?" Tob asked.
Above all this, Markior, Aurora and Kerrigan looked at the crater. Markior mumbled, "The Genesis must've fallen back into the Underworld..." Aurora looked up at Markior's pupiless eyes. "You're going after it, aren't you?" Kerrigan widened her eyes. "You're mad." Markior looked down into the crater. "It isn't over yet..." He looked at Aurora. "I'm going. This must be finished. It has to be done." He leapt into the crater. Aurora clenched her fists and jumped in after him. Kerrigan crossed her arms... "They're all nuts..." She hissed. After a while, she sighed, cursed at herself, and jumped in after them.
