Kyanosa, Redaz and Sheko continued to float through the shaft, "So, how much longer do you think this will take?" Kyanosa asked as he looked around the cavern.
"A few more minutes." Redaz replied, looking at the ground below.
"Wanna jump?" Kyanosa asked, with a matter-of-fact tone.
"I'd prefer to keep my legs intact." Sheko said.
"Anything going on down there?" Kyanosa asked.
"That hazy looking person's moving toward the black ship," Redaz responded. Sheko looked down, and Kyanosa attempted to look around his two passengers. "And those beams stopped."
"There's someone on the ship!" Sheko said.
"That would explain how it was flying and shooting earlier," Kyanosa commented.
"No, on-top of it, and I get a bad feeling from him," Redaz said, "a very bad feeling."
"What are they doing?" Kyanosa was twisting his neck in every way possible to see around the other two and find where the new mysterious person was.
"They're fighting," Redaz said, "and they're very powerful." The two grappled for a minute and when they stopped the dark figure dissapeared. Redaz thought the original person's energy had diminished, but he didn't say anything, contributing it to exertion against his opponent.
Shortly after the battle, the three floating down the shaft landed. "I guess we should head for the ship?" Sheko looked at his companions. The other two nodded and the group headed in the direction as the giant black mass.
A few yards away from the ship the three saw the figure that they had seen from the shaft, his body surrounded in a sphere of what looked like glowing mist. He looked at them for a moment then asked, "Who are you?"
Kyanosa eagerly stepped forward, "I am Kyanosa, the greatest hero in the universe. That's Redaz and he's Sheko, they're with me." His companions rolled their eyes, "We came from the hole in the ground," he pointed upward.
"I am the Markior, Executor of the...former Protoss base on the surface."
"We're looking for someone named Havering," Redaz said.
"Isn't everyone," the Markior stated, "He's on that ship. So is a group that has been trying to stop him. You should find them, before it's too late. You can get in through the back of it."
"What are you doing here then?" Sheko asked.
"I will assist in stopping him as well, but I'm going to wait for any others like you first, go ahead." The three nodded and continued on toward the ship.
As the three approached the ship, Kyanosa seemed distracted, after a few minutes, he asked, "Do either of you know what a Protoss is?" They both shook their heads, "It sounds really familiar and I can't think why." The other two just shrugged.
Not long after, they arrived at the opening in the ship, "Into the belly of the beast..." Redaz muttered, followed by a grunt of agreement from Sheko and Kyanosa.
