Chapter CCLXI: The Chaos Factor ~Vector

Tripper walked around the ruins of the Aurorium, waiting for Vector. He had said he would return. A sonic boom and a screech announced that the supersonic yoshi had returned.
"Lets get out of here, Trip." Vector said.
Tripper looked at Vector, and thought for a moment. While at the Aurorium, he had reflected back on his life. It was something he would have rather forgotten.
"Vector, I’m staying." Tripper said. Vector’s jaw nearly dropped off.
"What?" Vector yelled, "You can’t! You’ll die… Or something."
"Vector," Tripper said, "I have nothing to live for in our time. I’m part human, and part yoshi. Nobody wants me around. At least here, nobody hates me for what I am. You go, Vector. I had a dream… In it, you were the savior of the entire yoshi species. Then, a god approached me. He gave me these…"
Tripper walked back into the ruined building, and walked out with seven precious gems. Vector’s eyes widened at the sight of the stones.
"Chaos…Emeralds…" Vector said, awestruck. "Tripper… Chaos visited you?"
"I don’t know, Vector. Just take them." Tripper said. "And do that thing you do. I want to see it."
Vector nodded, and took the emeralds. He held them above his head, and as if some force was lifting them, they rose out of his hands, and floated above him. They started glowing, as did he. He also rose off of the ground, as the stones moved down, and circled around him. A ball of white energy surrounded him, and then faded. Vector floated above the ground, his skin alternating slowly between gold and white. His hair, now a deep cobalt blue moved slightly in the breeze created by the massive energy. His body radiated energies that touched all the senses, and filled anyone near him with every emotion imaginable. Vector looked at Tripper with his now red eyes, and extended his hand. The two shook hands, and then Tripper looked on as Vector soared straight up with incredible speed. He rose out of the atmosphere of Zolott, and then projected with his mind a message.

Lich, do not bother looking for me. I have become one with Chaos. I am fine. We will meet again, I’m sure, but until then, I wish you the best of luck getting to know your brother once again, and many happy years of life. Tell everyone that I know that I’m all right. Goodbye, friend.

Vector turned his back to the planet, and looked into open space. He couldn’t get home; Zolott was in a blank dimension. It was the only body there. The stars were just an illusion set up by Havering to simulate night. Suddenly, Vector got a voice in his head.

Chaos is power enriched by the heart. Empowered with chaos, the pure can break the bounds of time and space itself. Chaos is the one and the all.

With that, Vector started moving away from Zolott, slowly at first, and then gained speed. He then gave every ounce of speed he was capable of, and began moving faster and faster, past the limit at which light could travel at, on, towards infinity. His vision then went white, as he pierced the fabric of the dimension, the rip, and everything. From the surface of Zolott, a flash could be seen, a thousand times brighter than a million billion suns, yet the light did not blind.

Vector awoke under a tree he liked to sleep under, and stood up. He stretched, and took off over the azure plains of Yoshi Island, his memory of his time on Zolott not wiped from his memory, but in the back of his mind, waiting for the day when it would be needed again…
