Name: Ceres

Species: Rowen

Age: 85 in Rowen years, 17 in human years

History: Ceres is the only child of the leader of the Rowens, a gold and white Rowen named Draco. She is the youngest out of the remaining 20 that live in the Niran Mountains. Her kind have been killed off because they are feared. She is only a child and can not breathe fire like her elders, nor can she fly for very long. The only thing she is able to do is transform into human form, but she prefers her Rowen form. She can only snort smoke and fly a short distance before she must rest. She knows a few spells, and it is one day when she is practicing a teleportation spell does she accidentally teleport herself to Zolott. Now she seeks a way home.

Unique Abilities: Ceres can change into human, fly somewhat, can use teleportation spells, is able to mind read, snort smoke, and her eyes change color to fit her mood, even when she is in human form. Red means anger, green means sadness, blue is calm, gray is sickness, and yellow is alarm. She can also mind speak.

Description: Human Form: Ceres stands at 5 foot 7, with long black hair with a silver streak running through it. Her eyes are normally blue in color, but can change. She wears a knee-length black skirt with a silver-colored top, with short sleeves. She wears black slippers as well.
Rowen Form: Ceres is about 25 foot long, from tip of snout to tip of tail. Her scales are black and her underbelly and wing webbing is silver. Her wings look like those of a bat, and the webbing resembles leather. Her wing span is 12 feet.

Rowen History and Biology: Rowens can live for hundreds of years, but how long exactly is unknown. They make their homes in caves that run the length of the Niran Mountains. Male and females mate in midair, and males have been known to battle over a female. The winner always mates with the female.
Females usually lay one to two eggs after mating, and they guard them with their lives. Females aren’t capable of bearing young until they reach the age of 125. Males can’t produce offspring until the age of 120. Generally, Rowens bond with only one member of the opposite sex, but should that bond be broken, the survivor will bond with another.
Rowens have two types of fire; a healing fire, and a battle fire. Battle fire is hot enough to melt metal and stone, while healing fire is much cooler, but no human would be able to withstand it.
Rowen males, once they reach adulthood, can be 100 feet in length, while females reach 80 feet in length.
The enemies of Rowens is mainly man, since no other creature is able to penetrate their thick, armor-like scales. On occasion small creatures that feed on eggs will attack a Rowen nest. They have lived in peace for centuries with Nature, other than the occasional battle with a human. They aren’t aggressive, unless provoked.
