At age 14, using false IDs, he joined the Terran Space Navy. 4 years later, he was chosen to go back in time to Earth in 2000 A.D.

Hyper Vector is energy incarnate. Vector once absorbed the energies of a chaos emerald, and has only recently been capable of harnessing his full power. His transformation to the state of "hyper" can be triggered by many things, although the exact trigger is unknown. Sometimes, extreme rage can set the transformation off. Other times, it is physical trauma. Yet other times, it may be activated due to an absorption of energy. Hyper Vector is insanely fast, with a top speed of near 30 times that of light itself. He harbors unimaginable energy, which stems from the space between dimensions, or as some call it, the realm of Chaos. Hyper Vector is nearly invincible; physical attacks to his body are fleeting. He has only one real weakness, and that is his inability to breathe underwater; he can still drown. While in his "hyper" state, he knows nothing of his normal life, and he normally knows nothing of his "hyper" state, though the two conscious minds sometimes converge in a subconscious state, such as sleep. Hyper Vector is extremely vengeful, yet has a certain sense of duty, that he must uphold justice.
